I should begin by saying that our stay here was the highlight for the 7 children aged 12 - 16 we had with us. The location is idyllic although it is fair to say that some of the beach is drab. The rooms were clean and comfortable if basic - you expect that in an "eco lodge". Sadly the administration really let the place down. We had booked to finish the PADI course here (just the open water dives remained) and there was only one instructor for 8 pupils. In open ocean with 7 children this was worrying. The equipment was tired. Having said that, the instructor Sebastian was excellent, conscientious and did his best to look after everyone. He accepted he should have been helped. We wondered why he had no help. Eventually another instructor was found but Sebastian then fell ill. Days later the owner turned up and assisted. I had also booked (and reconfirmed) deep sea fishing. Nothing had been arranged and an inshore trip was hastily cobbled together. To be fair, the owner gave us some free diving to compensate. The staff were fantastic - friendly helpful and welcoming. Food was generally fine but desserts were odd. Great for adults and older teenagers but check and think carefully for children if diving.Don't rely on assurances from head office.
