We started our 2 week trip here. Gilbert answered all of my 100+ questions and helped ensure a wonderful adventure. Sierna tour in Corcovado was great. Truly worth the long boat rides- even in the rain. We saw SO much. Tony was the best guide. We also did 2 days of scuba. Sharks galore and so much more - rays, lobster, jacks, balls of fish - crazy! Thank you Sandra Really the staff was exceptional. Luis took care of us and the staff figured out who in out group preferred vegetarian choices for bag lunches without having to ask. They KNEW our allergies from our paperwork!!! Didn't have to remind anyone. Definitely go kayaking up the river. Great fun and you may get wet but that's part of the fun. Ok, the night tour with Carlos didn't sound all that exciting on paper but get those flashlights out. This was awesome and is not just for kids. Sandals won't cut this. 80% of all the animals.....you'll have to find out. The resort is stunning. We had rooms 10 and 11. I'd easily take them again but I don't think you can have a bad room. Food = DIXON. He is a god. Need I say more? Just pray you have folks fishing while you're there as its such a special treat to eat THE BEST sushimi yellowtail caught hours before. Thank you Peter, Caroline, Peter and Joshilyn. I ran out of memory cards on day 3 of our trip!! Yes flying into palmar sur is a treat but however you go - just go. We left that way but flew into drake bay. Both involve a boat ride so dress casual and flip flops work well. We did dress a bit for dinner but really casual is the dress code and quick dry necessary while we were there. Wifi in main social - dining area only. Sasha did get stung by a Portuguese man of war while swimming at the beach. Maybe bring a surf/ swim top but no one else did. She swam out further. Say hello to Coco from us and if you're very lucky you might get a sleepover with him. I'd highly recommend this resort. Very good value now that I've been. Thank you Brad for the wonderful staff you have and the resort you built.
