We stayed here for 4 nights in the Toucan's Nest. Costa Paraiso is my favorite place I have ever stayed on vacation. The Toucan's nest is perfect for a couple. The porch and view is amazing, the shower is really nice, it gets hot, the pressure is good and the bathroom is the most upgraded design and amenity wise of all the hotels we stayed at in Costa Rica. The bed was very comfortable and had soft, colorful sheets. We liked the individual character of the cabin and appreciated all the special touches.

The restaurant was very good. We had breakfast every day and tried pretty much everything on the menu. The pizza is very good as were the fish tacos. The view was great, the service was great, Goose was our waiter most of the time and we left feeling like we had made a great friend. In fact, the entire staff was friendly, attentive and you could tell the really enjoyed their work.

We cannot wait to come back next year.

This hotel more than lives up to the excellent reviews. The room was perfect and all the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had both breakfast and dinner there and they were both great. Kate, the chef, is so much more than that as she shared her experiences with and and couldn't have been more helpful.

We were only able to stay two nights but wished we could stay longer. Even if you are unable to stay there I recommend stopping by for breakfast or dinner as anyone can eat at the restaurant and enjoy the views over the local beach.

We enjoyed sitting in both the restaurant and out patio outside our room and enjoying the views and listening to the pouring rain.

Location was perfect. Nice long beach. The property ground was amazing (flowers). The food was very good (breakfast and pizza). This place have wine and beer only, no cocktail. We all missed our Margarita, martini, etc. that we normally have around the pool and before dinner. Rooms were great, no problem with hot water. I would not stay there for more then 2 nights though. There is only some different types of pizza on the menu for dinner but plenty of restaurants near by ( by car). Room, pool was very clean.

Highly recommended by the surf camp (Dominical Waverider) that was taking care of our family, we stayed in Costa Paraiso for our first 3 nights. What a peace of paradise! Right on the beach, and only 5 minutes from Dominical town, it was a perfect location. We did not have to deal with the crowd of the town and yet we we not so far. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean and the bed was very comfortable. They have a restaurant that have firewood pizza, and it was delicious. Their staff was very helpful, and the receptionist Sandra was very friendly. We moved to a house up the mountains for the rest of our stay, but when we come back we know for sure where we are going to stay. The sound of the waves crashing on the rocks was awesome! Ps: if you have kids under too young you might be paranoid about the rocks, besides that, HIGHLY recommended.
