“Hugely overrated”

This place at the dust road close to the beach serves mostly wraps, juices and smoothies. We had two wraps and one with falafel was really tasty but the other with hummus was quite flaw but the ingredients were fresh though. The service was awful. The girl was only involved with friends who had just arrived and did not mind the customer very much. We had to wait 45 minutes for two cold wraps. Luckily we are not running a tight schedule on our vacation

“Healthy beach fare”

This cozy little beachfront place is a breath of fresh air if you are looking for a different sort of breakfast or lunch. Breezy beach view with mellow background music. The Starving Surfer breakfast hits the spot. Wraps and paninis for lunch. Worth the stop.,

“Great Little Beach Joint!”

Just tried the new Surf Shak yesterday. What a great little place right on the beach in Dominical. As vegetarians, it is sometimes hard to find a variety of vegetarian options in smaller restaurants in Costa Rica. The Shak has several vegetarian and vegan options and our chicken eating friends also enjoyed their meal. The prices are reasonable, the vibe is low key, and the views cannot be beat!
