“great coffee and smoothies”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

Great view and they definitely had the best coffee we had during our stay in Dominical. Maybe we were just taken in by the views but it really was excellent. Tico breakfast was also really good and we noticed that many of their smoothies have fruits, etc. that they grow right on the property.

One of the best oceanside restaurants we found in the area.

“Food great, service could use work”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 18, 2013 via mobile

Went as a group of six. We had lunch there one afternoon--restaurant was closing after lunch service but the chef chose to stay open for us and serve us herself. Phenomenal food and loved the cocobomb. So good we ordered pizzas to be delivered that same night. Once again, best food we had in Dominical. We went back for dinner the next night so we could enjoy the sunset from the restaurant. Ceviche, fish tacos were both amazing. The only thing was they could not make cocktails (no liquor license or something) and the waitress didn't seem to be able to handle a large dinner service by herself very well. One person in our party didn't get her entree, so the order was put in late and she ended up eating by herself when the rest of us had already finished. Nevertheless, we could tell they were trying hard and so would definitely return if we go back to Dominical in the future!

“Great innovative food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

This place has the best ceviche we tasted in 10 days in the Dominical area. Also enjoyed the fish tacos and pizzas (especially the little bowls of chilis and garlic in oil!) Went back for brunch the next morning, and tried their famous French Toast, stuffed with cream cheese and homemade berry jam. Wonderful omelettes with loads of fillings to choose from. Oh yes, and their drinks were also special. Had the lemongrass, ginger, starfruit juice with our brunch. Wished they had more choices on their dinner menu, as we found their breakfast/lunch menu more extensive, with things like Thai Green Curry that you couldn't get at dinner. But other than that, this was our favourite place to eat!

“Beautiful View!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

You have to visit PorQueNo if for no other reason than relaxing with a drink while taking in the beautiful view. We had the pizza and it wasn't great - not bad, but not great. The service was really good and our waitress was so friendly. I would recommend a visit.

“Once a year event”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012 via mobile

Apparently it was my birthday, which it was, but at a certain age some of us don't like being reminded. The bats didn't seem to know this fact and they happily carried on feeding under the spotlight forming a spectacle between the veranda of the restaurant and the ocean. Having finished my delicious burger and having downed a couple of Imperials I thought I got away with it. But no, the wife thought it appropriate to let the waiter know. He in turn thought it should be known by the rest of the staff. The outcome of this - a candle in the chocolate gateau and a rousing chorus of happy birthday! Thank heavens birthdays only occur once a year .......
