“A visit to the Old West”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

Tombstone, Arizona takes you back in time and you really feel you're in the west not exactly wild though just a feeling of fun and excitement. Spent the day there in September, 2012 and had so much fun touring the entire area (even visited Boot Hill) with friends and family.

The court house really gave you information about Tombstone, you feel you are back in time. The stores were so much fun shopping in especially if you like western dress. Don't forget to have a meal while you're there, I had my first Buffalo Burger and it was delicious.

“Hang 'em high!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

Great and historically very interesting and significant. Boot Hill owes its business to this place! The local history is laid out and easy to see and understand. Unlike the rest of Tombstone it's reasonably priced too ($5 each).

“Good historical information on the town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

The courthouse is now essentially a museum with a lot of historical information on the town, its history, key people (such as Wyatt Earp, famous sheriffs and the town founder). Each room displays antiquities and placques telling the story of key items such as the town's beginnings, its sheriffs, entertainment/saloons, the mining, and of course the court cases. If you want action, go to a gunfight. This is a good museum, but definitely quite academic in nature.

“They had a very nice display of historical artifacts in a comfortable historical setting.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012 via mobile

The displays were very interesting and well put together encompassing historical trials and frontier lawmen as well as townfolk life, cattle ranching information, and silver mining having taken place in the vicinity. Large rooms, not crowded when we visited, and very reasonable rates. They seating available, a bookstore small souvenir shop and nice bathrooms available. There was even a video you could watch for those individuals unable to climb stairs to view the displays on second floor where main courtroom is located. Nice for everyone would reccomend and visit again.
