Our shower was unusable--the water didn't drain. Maintenance couldn't fix it, and dumped a bunch of chemicals in it to try to clear whatever was clogging it, rendering it even more unusable. We were given 10% off the room price--which was about $8, hardly adequate for not being able to take a shower (there were three of us). Staff was extremely rude the following morning, and informed us that it was our responsibility to have asked for another room (I guess you only get adequate service at La Quinta if you ASK for it; you can't expect it to be offered). To top it off, the continental breakfast is very skimpy. There are far too many mid-range hotel chains to ever consider La Quinta again. Avoid this one at all costs.

I found this Sleep N' Fly hotel through a Google search for Phoenix Sleep N' Fly rates. There were several hotels offering the Park N' Fly. I had a hard time figuring out which hotel to stay in. The rate I got from this hotel included 14 days parking.
I was very pleased with the hotel. You can't really tell from a website picture what you are signing up for. The 'vibe' was safe, comfortable, cozy, clean, not creepy at all. The hotel room doors are on the exterior of the building though. But I felt secure in the room. The neighborhood was really a business district of small warehouse businesses, electronic companies, etc. I felt safe in that neighborhood.
This hotel is southeast of the airport, on the outskirts of Tempe. I felt much safer staying in this neighborhood then the Sleep n' Fly hotels north of the airport.
I would stay at this hotel again for sure. When I called to inquire about the rate, the front desk manager was very friendly and reassuring. I think that sold me on selecting their property, the customer service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, giving directions, checking out, even the shuttle driver.
Your rate includes a free shuttle service to the airport, 10 minutes away. You get your free continental breakfast too. Casino Arizona is a 15 minute drive from the hotel.
I'd stay there again for sure.

We have stayed in three different La quintas befor this one and we enjoyed all of them. This was the first time we booked through expedia for a La Quinta room and seems that we were given the most cheapest room in the house that had no microwave, mini fridge or even AC. We never did get our room cleaned we called down three times and just got lip service. The breakfast was OK, although I am use to the waffle making iron whick this La Quinta did not have, huge disappointment. We asked for a different room but our account was through expedia and we were stuck with the room we had because expedia only get a certain rate and the hotel doesn't make that much money off of our type of guest. Took forever to get acknowleged at the front desk when we came to ask a question. Desk clerk at check in was very nice. Morning desk clerk is a little rough. Will not stay at this La Quinta again.

I stayed at this hotel because I got a great rate online and the reviews from this website. The hotel is very close to the airport. Check-in was quick, mainly because I prepaid online. Our room was in the back so I never heard any noise from the highway or the pool. The room was clean and the furnishings up to date. The staff was friendly and housekeeping left us plenty of towels. The continental breakfast was not wonderful but it was ok. Plus there is a Denny's right next door which also by the way has a friendly staff. I found the hotel convenient to all area attractions and only a couple of miles from Mill Street and ASU. This is a clean, basic hotel and if you are on a budget (which describes us) then it's perfect for the price.
