I had always thought that the La Quinta name guaranteed a certain base quality of hotel, but not this time. The hotel was pricy at over $100 a night for a room in a market where I usually get a mid-range hotel for $60 to $70 a night. The building had an overall run down look, worn and stained carpets, broken door latches on hallway doors, dented metal room doors and it needs paint. The staff on the other hand was excellent, very friendly, efficient and helpful.
