Came here for a business trip. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained, and the rooms are nice and spacious. However, it's near the airport, the highway, the railroad tracks, the Minneapolis 500....

Just coming in from the east coast, and dealing with the time change I wanted to go to bed early, but this was nixed by the fact that the airlines fly almost directly overhead, making it impossible to sleep unless it's 11pm-5am. The highway constantly drones in the background. At 2 am, the train came through and woke me up, blowing it's horn for 5 minutes. The next night, in addition to the "Transportation Symphony" above, apparently some people like to drag race their cars down the isolated strip of road near the hotel.

One of my colleagues stayed at a room at the back of the hotel, which was apparently much quieter. If you feel inclined to stay at this hotel, you might want to try that, but honestly, I think you can probably do much better for your money somewhere else.

We stay at Hyatt Place hotels everywhere we go for short trips. All rooms are exactly identical at every hotel. If you book on line, you go into the lobby and check yourself in at the kiosk which then gives you your room keys with a reciept with the room number and directions to your room. No standing in line after a long days travel! The rooms are spacious with living rooms, wet bars, desks, wireless internet, 42 inch plasma flat screen TVs and really comfortable King beds! The pit group sofa is also a sofa sleeper. They also have free continental breakfast and Starbucks coffee! Best of all is the great rates! Try this hotel chain and you will be back! We have stayed at 3 different ones now and will continue to go back. Join the Gold passport club, its free and for every 2 stays you get a free night...whats not to love!

Husband and I stayed at Hyatt Place Nov. 13-17, 2008. Hotel Shuttle was waiting at the airport. We were very impressed with the super friendly and helpful staff. Self check-in kiosk worked like a charm. Food was tasty and freshly prepared. The room was huge and the 42 inch plasma TV came in handy for watching DVDs we brought with us. We thoroughly enjoyed the free continental breakfast (yogurt, fresh fruit, english muffins, cereal, bagels and fresh Starbucks Coffee. We did spend some time at the pool area and as you can imagine with the planes flying overhead, it was a bit noisy at times. All in all, a great stay and I would choose a Hyatt Place again without hesitation. By the way, it was only $37 a night on Priceline.

This was our first time staying at a Hyatt Place. We often visit Tempe, AZ and thought we would give this place a try. We got a great rate through Hotels.com. The room was clean and modern. We got in earlier than expected and we had no problem checking in . The front reception staff was friendly and very helpful. The 42" flat screen was great, free WIFI and no problem with coverage. If you get a decent rate then this hotel is a steal! Great loacation to airport, Mill Strreet and ASU!
