the restaurant interior is old and boring but food is still good. the pies are excellent even through expensive I think that this restaurant is in a retirement area and should offer senior portions of pies to be taken home

“Can't say more than average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

We went here for their 2 for $20 dinner special. We both ordered prime rib - it was tough and not all that warm. We had a waiter who gave very poor service - we had to ask a passing waitress for more coffee, etc. We had a long wait for our meal and the waiter never brought our bread till we asked for it. He never came to the table until we waived him down. The bread was good, the salad, vegetables and pie were very good. The waitress that stopped by and cleared our table, kept our water filled and answered our questions, was very good. Might have given them a better grade if the prime rib had been hot and our waiter had been better. Did not expect 5-star prime rib for $20 but would have like a hot meal and better service from our waiter.

“Relaxing surroundings...need will power to walk past the pie case”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

Four of us had 55 + meals for lunch, tasty, fresh and hot and not expensive. Not noisy although nicely filled with customers. Recommend for a stop while shopping or to meet friends and relax.

“Happy food dance”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

Prior to eating here I had driven by several Coco's locations and never eaten there because I wan't in love with the outside appearance and assumed it would be like an IHOP or something equally blech. I was SOOO wrong! The portions are huge so either go when you're starving or be prepared to box it up. Everything was fresh, fluffy, looked and tasted amazing. The staff was very friendly and fast.

“Low to average prices and low to average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

Coco's is a convenient place to go for breakfast. There are not many other places nearby. The prices are reasonable - but it seems you get what you pay for.
My two poached eggs were done just fine - my crisp bacon was not crisp at all and so thin you could see through it. My hashbrown potatoes were small cubes (a little bigger than a pea) and they were cold - without any crusts or marks to show they were fried. There were a few onions in among the potatoes, and they were cold too. My toast was made of the most ordinary bread you could buy at a grocery store - no thick or heavy bread here.
There were lots of other people there for breakfast - it is a large restaurant. The price and food quality seems to suit many people.
