We have just returned from a four day stay in Sierra Vista visiting family. This hotel is adequate for just a place to sleep. Room was clean, good location, grounds were clean, nice breakfast and friendly staff. But, is there a bad location in the small city of Sierra Vista. If you are on or near Fry Blvd. you are near everything. Yes, there were two blue washcloths hanging on the towel bar for removing makeup. The note said these were green, maybe they were at one time but they were definitvely blue. They were very rough. Besides taking off makeup, I used them as an exfoliant on my face. No place to just relax and read - a courtyard would have been nice. Pool was clean with a nice view of the mountains.
Would I stay here again? Probably not. There are three new hotels almost at the completion point in Sierra Vista. I will book one of them on our next visit.

AAA recommended this hotel and we are so thankful for their help. We are from Phoenix and although Sierra Vista is only about 3 hrs away, my wife and I were visiting our son at Ft. Huachuca for the first time.

From the time we arrived we felt very welcome. The staff always has a smile from the maids to the manager who gave us a lot of history on the area. I don't think we have ever stayed in a cleaner hotel in all of our travels around the world, everything was just perfect. It has a nice pool and is close to several good restaurants. The manager said they just refurbished all their rooms last spring and it really shows. The continental breakfast is also the best we have found and it's free. Their rooms are very reasonably priced, too. We will be back.

“A pretty good stay”

This motel was less expensive than most of the other ones in Sierra Vista without being skeezy. The rooms were adequately clean and quiet. It was nice to have wireless internet. The front desk staff checked us in quickly and even politely accomodated a couple of special requests we had. The breakfast buffet was nicely presented and there was a pretty big selection including fruit and yoghurt. I wouldn't say it was a first-class stay, but it was a fine value for the price. I didn't happen to notice any bugs.
By the way, if you are looking for good food nearby, head towards Ft Huachuca to Rodolphos Taco Shop. It's nothing pretty, but the burritos are out of this world. For a more formal dining experience, I enjoy La Casita.

This place is awful, and I hope they fire the manager. My husband was on TDY and had me and our dog with him. We were supposed to stay here about two weeks until our apartment was ready, but... one night we came in (only were gone 3 hours) to find our dog missing. The manager had illegally taken our dog and claimed that he had complaints that our dog had been barking for the past 3 days. Why did they not tell us sooner? Why did they not call my cell number, which was on our dog's tag? It is unlawful for an untrained person to remove someone elses pet, right? Not to mention, they confined him for 2 hours with no food, water, or attention. He was scared to death and now snaps at us when we try to pick him up. I don't know what those people did to my dog, but I'm reporting it!

I had the misfortune to stay at this property for a week while on military TDY. The room was run down, the A/C unit was so noisy it woke us up every time it clicked on with a grinding screeching sound. The room had live and dead bugs throught, It was not vacuumed around the corners or near the night table, and the towels had an offensive odor. I walked in on the cleaning staff one day and it suspiciously looked like the lady was closing my suitcase as I walked in. I had stayed prior to this next door at the Comfort Suites and had a much better experience. Next time I will go back to the Comfort.
