Tucked into the shell of a few former failed restaurants is Sierra Vista's newest restaurant.
We went for lunch this date (5/30) and actually had to wait at the front door, until we found out that it was a seating glitch and we were able to sit at the empty bar. In fact, the whole place was rather empty at lunch time.
We were greeted and pressed for drinks. The venue is clean and organized.
The whole interior of the site is open and bright. If you you miss a play while watching a game on one of the many TV sets, it's your fault! Wall to wall TV's.
The piped in music was very loud and not consistent with the "lumberjack" motif.
The food is nothing special. Same pub food as any other chain, just with a different name.
My chicken tenders were huge! A good helping of breast fillets in a basket, but very dry and overcooked and the cooler they became, the tougher they became.
The basket of onion straws I ordered was also gigantic, but settled into a basket of oily
breading as they cooled.
My wife's campfire cobb salad was reported to be very fresh with the correct amount of dressing on the side, with the pieces of chicken being small, overcooked and dry.
A bit on the expensive side, too.
Doubtful if we will be back!
