“Clean White Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

This is one of the cleanest beaches I have been to. Between the Emerald colored water and the white beach, you would think you are in heaven. Less people here also. I will return next month.

“White sand, secluded beach! Lay back and relax!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013 via mobile

The dunes and the white beach are very beautiful. The beach here is totay not crowded, have been here on saturday. However the water was not that nice, full of brownish plant all over in the water, which makes swimming no fun at all. A little further west in Navarre the water was perfect clear. Don't know if that is something seasonal or localation related. Anyhow the beach is nice and clean and worth a visit.

There are various occurances throughout the year that cause the gulf to seem dirty or muddy. The coastal dune lakes drain into the gulf certain times of the year turning the near-shore waters an orange-brown color from the naturally occuring tannins in the lake. There are also seasonal occurances of seaweed, algae, and jellyfish. Feel free to call the park at any time for water conditions. They are always happy to answer all questions related to the park.

10 items on a chalkboard menu. Always able to find something you like. Drinks and dessert finish the meal off. Eat inside or out, but check out the band Dread Clampett..they are awesome and well worth any wait you may have...Right on the beach..a must do, must see place!!

“Amazing sand dunes, awesome way to get back to nature”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

We stayed at the campground for 3 nights, and loved every minute of it. The dunes and beach were amazing and the lake was amazing to see at night and first thing in the morning. We were lucky enough to have a lake front site, that had a path so my boy could fish. We brought the bikes and went to town. This park is a little piece of heaven away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the world. It was quiet and dark, lots of stars, but also great, recently renovated bathrooms, so it really wasn't "roughing" anything. The beach never got crazy crowded, and was really fun. It's all ADA renovated, so there isn't all sorts of crazy stairs to walk either, which was nice.

“Sea Dunes The Way They Were!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

Grayton Beach State Park is a terrific place to go for a day or several days (campground) to enjoy a more natural part of Florida. The sand dunes are spectacular - the way they were before all of the development. We liked being able to go to an uncrowded beach. Also, kayaked Western Lake for part of one day. Then, hiked the explanatory trail that shows how dunes are created naturally - really cool! Your family will love it!
