Definitely a place worthy of repeating when in the area. The staff is what makes this a great place to stay. They're friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They make your stay like visiting with old friends. The buildings are a little dated but very well maintained. After reading previous reviews, we had requested a room in the back building. The hotel was booked so we ended up in the front building. We had no problem with noise from the street. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of plugs within easy reach for all those electronic needs. The only disappointment was that there were no windows that opened to bring in all the fresh air! Having said that, we left the door to the room open during part of our stay. The breakfast was fresh and included scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, muffins, yogurt and fresh fruit, with a variety of juices, milk and coffee/teas. There is a staff member available to take care of any special needs and to assist as needed. We were given information on the restaurant next door and had dinner there. It's a little pricey but the food was excellent.
