We decided to stay there on our way to the Grand Canyon as we read some very good reviews about it. We arrived late at night (3 am) and checked into the Casa Blanca (20's - 30's theme) room. Though it was late and we were tired, we couldn't but start taking pictures of the room with nice little details and antique pieces the rooms was decorated with. It was a real look and feel of the past, but further very neat and clean. At the breakfast (good coffee/tea with danish) we met the couple who run the place - Rod and Sherry - to also apologize for waking them up at night. They are fantastic people, devoted to make your stay an unforgettable one. As we found it a pity that we could only enjoy our pretty room for a very short time, we decided to stay another night. After visiting the Canyon we had a good dinner at the restaurant next door (run by the motel owner, a Norwegian lady) and had a beer and a lovely chat with Rod and Sherry. We really enjoyed our stay, felt at home and would rank this hotel as the best on our 2-weeks' round trip. We would definitely come back!
There is a range of theme rooms in the hotel, but whether you get one depends on the availability...
