“Delightfully touristy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

There's tons of route 66 memorabilia to see at Delgadillos Snow Cap. We headed there early in the morning when all the shops nearby were opening their doors. Seligman, AZ is a great place to rest up for the night and get an hours-worth of atmosphere in in the morning before continuing on your journey!

“Good food in GREAT setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

Roadtripping along Route 66 (in our case between Grand Canyon and Vegas) necessitates only one food stop - here.

The food is good without needing to be spectacular - simple satisfying tacos, burgers, fries and onion rings - that will keep your calorie levels high for the journey onward.

What is more impressive is the setting - what looks like a transformed gas station covered with memorabilia and surrounded by vehicles from Cars and entertaining toilets. Also the staff - without ruining the surprises (don't read too far into some of the other reviews). You'll understand when you see it. Just stop here. It will make you smile.

“Local Attractions”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 30, 2012

I've always considered this more of an attraction than a restaurant. I think they have a pretty typical short order type menu, although I've only had ice cream and hot dogs from here, the service is better described as entertainment or an attraction. I'm never sure what to expect when ordering here, give it a try and see for yourself. The food I've had is fine and the entertainment makes you forget what the food cost, but is very reasonable.

“A real gem not to be missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2012

Although the original owner, Juan Delgadillo, is no longer with us, his family maintain the tradition of entertaining customers with practical jokes. Getting into it is tricky with push and pull being written on the wrong sides of the door. We only wanted a couple of ices but the lovely young lady offered us a small cone which was minute, half a cone (a cone cut in half) and then some recycled napkins. When we did finally get our ices it was a while before we could eat them because we were laughing so much. The restroom is basic, but does include a TV set and telephone, both dating from about the 1960s. If you are passing through Seligman then don't miss this fantastic place.

“Great food and great prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

The food was excellent and the prices were amazing. The staff had quiet a sense fo humor, they sprayed you with a fake mustard bottle (it made you laugh). The atmosphere was wonderful and plenty of old cars parked in the lot to look at. The bathrooms werenot very clean but the food was very good and worth the drive.....try the chips and salsa!
