Comfort Inns can vary greatly from place to place and from good to poor - Sedona's Comfort Inn is a good find! Note right from the start that this motel does not have an elevator (it was explained to us that Sedona has elevator restrictions?). The layout of the hotel should have placed the second floor stairwells in the center of the structure. We had a second floor room that not only required carrying our luggage up the steps but then back down the entire full length of the building once we got up there! It even winded our teenagers. However, the view from our room was worth the walk, yet ask for ground floor if "hiking" is a prolbem for you. We enjoyed the room's southwestern decor and cleanliness, and we were very happy with the Inn's location in relation to downtown Sedona - out of the way from the main strip hub-bub, but very close to the action. Don't forget to go out to the parking lot and look up at the hotel to get the view of the inn's own red rocks, especially at sunset. We didn't realize how nice the view was from the road was until it was almost too late. Slide Rock Park down Oak Creek Canyon is a MUST for both young and old!
