“Perfect place in Sedona”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013 via mobile

Had a wonderful one night stay here, super clean rooms and great service! My suite even had a fireplace which will be good to use during the winter! Location is perfect and accessible to many things in Sedona.

The staff was extremely friendly. The room was very clean with a nice views of the mountains. The entire property was very well kept with a great a golf course. There where multiple pools to take advantage of and a full spa.

Stayed here one night while on our road trip through the SW and had a great stay. We used credit card points and got a free room, so we really have no complaints.

The clerk at check-in was very friendly. The clerk at check-out, not so much. He barely said "thank you". Not one question about our stay, but whatever.

The room was really clean and we had a great view from our balcony. We did not eat at the hotel, so I am not able to comment on the food. (We generally do not eat at hotel restaurants since we like trying out the local restaurants.)

The grounds were very well-maintained. My daughter saw her very 1st cactus here, so she was pretty excited!

I would recommend this hotel while staying in Sedona. If staying in Sedona in the future, we would definitely stay here.

Here on a business retreat and everything went smoothly. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, quiet, food probably average, service staff always helpful. Meeting room and adjoining patio served our small group well. Check-in efficient and friendly. Delia with housekeeping went out of her way to help on several requests and we give her efforts very high marks. Red rock scenery from this hotel location is above most hotels in the area. It is a 10 minute drive to downtown, but you do avoid all that traffic congestion staying here than you would encounter closer in. Enjoyed the gas fireplace, especially nice during colder months. Balcony also very quiet and private and you didn't feel right next to your neighbor. We stayed in Room 3017--higher floors better sight lines and it faces Bell Rock and Cathedral Rock. Great walking/jogging behind the resort among the private residences along the golf course. Restaurants on location we would not recommend. Service poor, prices high and food average.
We loved Sedona and plan to return soon. Must see place in Arizona if visiting for first or tenth time. From airport only 100 minutes away.

Best restaurant of trip: Cucina Rustica. (walking distance from hotel entrance)
Best tourist thing to do: Pink Jeep tour.
Best hiking: West Fork of Oak Creek
Best local apples: Garlands in Oak Creek
Best Golf: Golf resort Village of Oak Creek, near hotel on Ridge Trail Drive
Best Indian shop: Hoel's Indian Shop, Oak Creek Canyon

Room Tip: The south wing and facing the mountains to the North. Stunning views from bedroom and balcony.

We stayed at the Hilton and even though we used points for the stay were pleasantly surprised by a nice upgrade. It was our 25th anniversary and the hotel sent up champagne. The location was good but a bit removed from what I will call the hub of Sedona. Still, it was quiet and not too far of a drive. The rooms were clean, comfortable and provided a good value (we were in a suite) and the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The resort had a nice spa, great gym and the pool was inviting with comfortable lounge chairs and a bar/restaurant. Breakfast was a good value (especially for Hilton Honors guests) and the food service staff very nice. There is also a great Italian restaurant (Cucina Rustica) just a short walk down the drive from the hotel. We will definitely stay here again and next time for longer than 3 days.

Room Tip: Ask for a mountain view room

I stayed at the Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa for one night during a weekend trip to Sedona in mid-August. The one-room suite was ready early (despite the resort being booked that night), clean, & spacious. The mini fridge was handy & the fireplace was a nice touch, although the flame was almost nonexistent. I didn't eat on-site, as there were great restaurants located just a short distance away. (Red Rock Cafe being my favorite.) There are also some great hiking trails extremely close to the resort. I believe most of them require a Red Rock Pass to park, but you can purchase an all-day pass for $5 at the resort gift shop. I did not check out the pool, so I cannot attest to the size, as some reviews comment on the lack of. Overall, a great stay, the only downside being the price.

My colleagues and I were on a short trip to Sedona and very much enjoyed the Hilton. The landscape is well maintained and pool area was very nice and relaxing. The hotel is a few miles from downtown Sedona but not too far removed. The hotel also has a great view of Cathedral Rock. The rooms were a little small but had a wonderful fireplace for the chilly nights.
