“Love the room layout and the golf course”

We had the opportunity to spend two nights in the Hilton Sedona and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were able to walk across the street and play 18 on a beautiful well kept course with great views and tough greens. Liked the idea of staying away from the main shopping area but had access to shuttle when we wanted to enjoy the downtown.
The room layout was such that a couple could easily stay for 2 weeks and not feel crowded.
Will return next time we are in Sedona.

We stayed at the Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa for two nights in April. We arrived and were able to check in a couple hours before check in time. The hotel is actually located in the Village of Oak Creek so it was easy to find as we were driving into Sedona from the Phoenix area. The hotel itself is nice but was definitely starting to show its age. The hallways were narrow with lower ceilings and the rooms were old but everything was very clean and in working order. There is a resort fee, but we knew about this prior to arrival so we were not surprised. The suite was separated into a sleeping area and living room. Nice but dated. Comfy Bed. Walls did seem a little thin because we could hear everything that people were saying in the hallway when we were in our living area, but the hotel itself was pretty quiet so this also did not cause a problem to our stay. Front desk staff was helpful when we asked for directions. We ate dinner one night at the restaurant on property. We chose to sit outside on the patio, we really enjoyed the ambiance and the food was very good. I think they even had a place where kids could roast marshmallows over a fire. We were not able to take advantage of the pool or outdoor areas at the hotel but they looked good.

All in all we were pretty satisfied with our stay. Although I hope they choose to renovate the rooms, we will most likely be back to the hotel regardless.

The rooms were laid out nicely. Fireplace, separate room for watching TV, patio w/ nice view. Pool, tennis, a class schedule for fitness, great pools. Little expensive but worty the little extra! Everyone very helpful! Breakfast does not come w/ price.

This hotel is not "in" Sedona, it is several miles away in the Village of Oak Creek. There are very view areas of the hotel with views of the red rocks formations, none really from the pools or outdoor areas and it looks like very few rooms have views. Our room was situated to look at the parking lot. The room itself was nice, bed not comfy like we expect from a Hilton but the kitchen, living area is nice to stretch out. Would be great if traveling with kids or for a longer stay. Pool area is small, nothing special. Bar staff during our stay were terribly untrained! The first time the manager was watching the bar, but he was on the phone outside. Then he couldn't find the WINE OPENER! Then at other bars two times the bar staff had to look at the menu to read the ingredients in the drinks we ordered!

When a property calls itself a resort, we expect a higher level of service than what we found at this hotel from the moment we drove up to the front door until we checked out. Traveling with another couple we had a fair bit of luggage with us and was very surprised that there was no bellman on duty to help with the luggage. We had to find a luggage cart and unload our luggage, and needless to say no valet parking. Maybe this seems picky, but again typical things I would expect at a "Resort." Since we arrived early in the day our suite wasn't available, which was fine, but when we returned late in the afternoon when we checked in we were told that our luggage had been taken to the room, which it was not. It took the better part of an hour to get the luggage which caused us to miss our dinner reservation. Their excuse, we checked in during a shift change and the request to have the luggage delivered got lost somewhere. NOT EXCEPTABLE. The suite itself was okay, clean, but a bit dated and in need of some updating. We also expected when renting one of the more expensive suites in the property we would have a better view than the parking lot. But by far the most disappointing part of our stay at this hotel was the breakfast on our last day. The selection was poor, and the quality of the food and service was even worse. I am sure there are a lot nicer places in Sedona, recommend finding one of them.

My spouse and I stayed in the Hilton Sedona for four nights while visiting Sedona. We have stayed in this hotel for three previous stays, and we like it so much that it is the only place in Sedona that we have stayed. We had the one bdrm suite room, which is a great layout with lots of room for two people (or even four). The hotel is very clean, and we love the location for hiking S. Sedona. However, if you are into shopping you will find that this hotel is a bit out of the way. I am a Hilton Diamond member, so we love the included breakfast. This Hilton now gives an allowance to Diamond members to cover the cost of the continental breakfast, which we found to be excellent with lots of choices. If you want something else, or the full breakfast, you can also get that for a bit more $$. This hotel is not low price, but we feel it is high value. The one thing that we did not appreciate is that this hotel, as well as many other Hilton Resort hotels, adds a $15. / day resort fee. For Hilton Diamond members this fee does not add anything that we did not have included before, so really just an add on to the room cost.

This property was very nice, although not up to the high standards of most resorts set by this brand. The staff was superb as is usually the case, however the resort itself was set into a business area and did not leave you the feeling of beiung in a resort away from all the hustle and bustle. On the plus side it was located close to anything outside the resort you wanted to do. We enjoyed a nice morning walk to catch the sunrise on the red rocks which was spectacular.
