“two rooms in one”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2010

We have grown accustomed over the years to a very dependable experience when staying at Hampton Inns and this is a good thing - this experience was no different. The hotel is well situated as it's not on the main strip but easily accessible by car. There are also a number of businesses around (restaurants, groceries, pharmacy, etc.) that make the location very practical. Our only surprise came from realizing that the suite we rented was actually two exact same rooms without a dividing wall. As a result, the room was very spacious but laid out in a bit of a funny way. This small detail aside, the room was fine - the bed was comfortable and the access to a fridge was a nice plus.

This was my first trip to Sedona so wasn't quite sure how the town was laid out or where to stay. Chose the Hampton because of our loyalty program with Hilton Hotels. Price was fairly high but decent in comparison to other hotels in the area. Check in was a breeze, room was clean. Comfy beds. We didn't use the pool or try the breakfast. Room was of a good size as was the bathroom. Both were spotless. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Was pleased with the hotel, scored well in all categories - cleanliness, good staff, breakfast. No complaints at all and just a short drive to downtown Sedona. The downtown hotels were all over priced for the tourists but the 5 minute drive to this hotel from downtown dropped the price in half. Would definitely stay again

Stayed here for two nights with our kids. Nice location, not far from all the attractions Sedona has to offer. Friendly, courteous staff, nice breakfast with plenty of choices and a nice pool and hot tub. Parking is convenient and there are restaurnat choices all around.

Prior to staying at the Hampton Inn Sedona, my husband always had the idea that Hampton Inns were comparable to Fairfield Inns (the cheaper offshoot of Marriott hotels) and so we never even considered staying at a Hampton Inn when traveling. But, because all hotels in Sedona are so pricey, I decided to give the Hampton Inn there a try, based on the generally good reviews at TripAdvisor. I'm so glad we did! We were very pleased in every way! The room was great. So comfortable, quiet, clean, with all the nice little extras that make a stay seem special. The breakfast was very nice. The only complaint there was that they need to put sun shades on the windows in the breakfast room because nearly all the tables were in direct sunlight. If we were to return to Sedona in the future, we would definitely stay there again.

I stayed on the first floor of this Hampon Inn, and there are some mildew and mold issues. It's not quite as nice as some of the other Hampton Inns. The carpet is a little worn out. It smelled moldy and I was coughing my head off and plugged up all night long. The managemen was very hospitable and did change my room for me - no questions asked. The pool and the hot tub and the free breakfast were all very good, and my bed (on the second floor) was very comfortable. So if you stay, don't stay on the first floor!

We were only there one night. Too bad. The hotel was wonderful. Very clean, friendly staff. Despite the hotel being full, our room was quiet. A little pricey for a Hampton Inn, but it seems everything in that town costs more than it should. We arrived early evening, got the kids changed into their jammies, and went down to the lobby for free hot chocolate - yes, in the middle of July. Also gotta love their breakfasts! Nice layout and the girl stayed on top of keeping the food supplied. Definitely coming back, though I don't know when.
