We spent four nights at the Hampton Inn while visiting Sedona. The Inn is out of the more 'touristy' part of town and away from the road construction. (Think twice if you're planning to stay on any hotel on SR 179 in Sedona this summer.) The room was clean and comfortable, with a refrigerator. All the staff were very friendly. Housekeeping comes early, which was a plus for us, because we came to Sedona for day hikes. The Hampton Inn is in walking distance of a great place for second breakfast (hotel has a free one in the Lobby) the Coffee Pot, which features breakfast and lunch. It's also in walking distance of an upscale movie theater, a marvelous pizza place, Walgreen's and a grocery store. Our previous stays in Sedona were at the Matterhorn, but that area of town has just gotten too busy with tour buses. The hotel is undergoing some renovations -- they swapped out air conditioners while we were there, but we experienced no inconvenience.
