We stayed at this hotel on September 16, 2007. The front desk staff was very friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. Our continental breakfast in the morning was typical of the Hampton Inn chain. We had eggs, biscuits and gravy, fruit, hot and cold cereal, bagels, muffins and juice.

This is not the place to stay if you want to sip cocktails while looking at the view. However, it's a GREAT place to stay if:
- you want to sleep well. The beds are extremely confortable. I'm ordering their comforter.
- you want a substantial fresh breakfast. It was the best included in the price of the room that our family had in 10 days in the West.
- you want a nice pool/hot tub. Lovely under the stars.
- you want to be close to the center of Sedona. The hotel is right off the highway, easy to find, easy to use.
- the rates are reasonable for Sedona.

The Hampton Inn Sedona may not be right in the center of town, but this made it an even more enjoyable stay because we avoided traffic! I loved the staff, breakfast was very good, and the coffee was the best that we had on the whole trip which consisted of about a month throughout the southwest. What is it about the Southwest's coffee? yuck. anyway, the staff recommendations were top notch, and they even gave me directions to the airport so i could avoid rush hour! BJ was as everyone knows the best. To some a two mile drive into town is too much, but to avoid the memorial day traffic was even better! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

We asked specifically for internet when reserving the room by phone and they said yes, it didn't work. It was never fixed. They didn't know what to do so they just threw up their hands and we were without it.
Lobby was being remodeled and a mess. This I'm sure couldn't be helped. Phone didn't work in the room. Had to desk 3 times to get it fixed. Desk clerk was never there.He was taking care of room requests, check-ins, remodeling, etc. We were denied our AARP discount. We received it at all others with no question, we had our card at each check-in. Most expensive Hampton we had stayed in the previous 9 days. We stay in Hamptons because we know what we will get. Extremely disappointing, very poor service and accomodations.
Most disappointing, they didn't care!!!!
