Views aside, this property is quite unimpressive. The rooms are very tired and are in need of a major face lift (i.e. drab colors, old furniture, no flat screen TV's). Wireless did not work the entire time, despite it being "reset" by the front desk. Prepaid room was over $100 w/tax. Despite being told it was their "best rate", a walk-in was at the desk one hour after we checked in and was quoted $82.50. Our second floor corner room absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke (the reason for my FD visit). I was told it smelled because people always leave the door open and smoke on the porch (in 100+ degree heat?). The second room was of the same "quality" but this time upon retiring for the evening, we discovered the A/C did not turn on at any setting (even fan). About 3:00 AM, it started on its on accord (bad thermostat?) and worked until checkout. I found the FD personnel to be going through the motions. To end on a positive note, however, the breakfast area was very clean and the woman working it was extremely cheerful and helpful (she should be at the FD!). Although I do not typically stay at Day's Inns, it would have met me expectations for a $49/night motel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the North side and on the second floor; beautiful mountain views!

We stayed here for 2 nights when visiting Sedona. Great value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The reception staff was really friendly. Stunning views of the Bell Rock. Breakfast is included, but is pretty basic. They do have a waffle making machine to make your own waffles. Will stay again.

Room with a view of Bell Rock...couldn't have been better. Good recommendation for dinner within walking distance.

Walking into my room, I saw a neat, clean, fresh room. Looking back out, I had a breathtaking view, and that was on the ground floor (north side)! The air system was noisy, but worked well. The tap water was as good as the double-filtered water at my home. The waist-high frij was great. Breakfast at this place is all grains, except for hard-boiled eggs, so gluten-free people need to bring their own breakfast. The first desk clerk I met was apparently resentful of working there, For example, when asked about area restaurants, she shrugged and did not mention the numerous discount cards in a display across the room. Other hotel staff were very professional and pleasant. The bed was very comfortable. A great value in an expensive town.
