“Beautiful Property in the Sedona area”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

We stayed at this resort over 4 nights on the Fourth of July weekend. The grounds were immaculate with par 3, nine hole golf course including beautiful ponds with ducks and fish. Right outside our covered patio we walked straight out onto the second tee with a sitting bench.
The staff was friendly and gave immediate service when we needed a replacement halogen light bulb or extra towels. Our room was cleaned daily with replacement linens with no extra charge. The room had a small fridge and microwave which was perfect for our quick snack /drink prep. We were a local pickup and drop off spot for the Pink Jeep Tour we took early in the morning and very accessible to both Uptown Sedona and Oak Creek Village.
The pullout sleeper sofa for the teenagers we took with us was comfortable and the master bed was super clean and great mattress. The room had about 500 sq ft with quick access to ice machine, restaurant, pool, spa and work out room. Bar on site had great service and made me a "mixer free" organic type margarita with a smile.
Bottom line was that this place was peaceful, quiet and quite beautiful. We will be going back as this was one of the nicer resorts we experienced in Sedona.

Room Tip: Ground floor has patio access to outdoor golf course and can walk on beautiful grounds. The larger 5...

The hotel was ok. I felt that our room was too inconsistent to get it cool enough to enjoy. It is a bit outdated in style but spacious. Not enough light for my opinion. A lot of static electricity. Every time I moved in the bed the down blanket lit up like a Christmas tree. Haha. Scared me not knowing what it was!! The little pitch and put 9 hole is fun and well maintained. A couple of water spots that I donated a ball or two. The pool was cool enough much like a lukewarm bathtub. NOW, THE RESTAURANT T CARLS IS AWESOME!!! I will most certainly review that separate as it stand alone here and needs to be singled out as well as the people who run it.

Room Tip: Ask for poolside or golf side with a patio...unfortunately we were parking lot side and sun beaten w...

Due to us being delayed in Canada, we had to ring the hotel on a number occasion to move the booking, they were most helpful, even if we did book through a 3rd party site

When we did arrive due to an error by the 3rd party site they had only moved one of our bookings. This was not a problem, they soon rebooked us and we checked in.

The room was brilliant everything you could hope for, our view from the balcony was of the 9 hole pitch and putt course with the amazing red rocks behind.

The pool & hot tub got the sun all day so ideal for those lazy days. We visited slide rock which is a must, and don’t forget to pack you trunks or bikinis as it is a must to do.

This is our 2nd stay at the Poco Diablo Resort in Sedona and if we are in the area again we will most defiantly be booking this hotel.

Room Tip: Book a golf view room

Planned an impromptu trip to Sedona and booked at the Poco Diablo. We brought our dog with us for weekend. The staff was amazing at check in, and even gave our dog a check-in present. Nice rooms, gorgeous views, and great staff that accommodated our four legged kid. Definitely will book here again on our next trip to Sedona!

Had never been to Sedona before. We live in Vegas and wanted to get away from the heat for the w/e. Bid on this hotel on Priceline, and won for $145/night. Is a little bit, not far, out of town. We did not have a mountain or golf course view, but we were ok with this.
They have a nice looking 9 hole course on site, very cheap to golf and rent clubs there.
The pool was clean and wet, a little too warm, but what are you gonna do?
We ate dinner at the nice restraunt on site. Very reasonable prices, and good food. We ate outside, and it was perfect.
I recommend this hotel in Sedona. I would consider going back.
Oh and our room had a huge 2 person jetted tub in the middle of the living/bed rooms. It looked awesome, but we didn't use.

Room Tip: Ask for mountain or golf course view

In a word: Average. The room was large and clean but definitely dated. On site restaurant had good service and average prices and food. The grounds are lovely and the staff was friendly and knowledgable about this fantastic area and the many tours, must sees, shopping and dining spots surrounding it.
Prices were average and a fair for the offerings.

Once in your room, open the curtains to see gorgeous scenery of Sedona's red rocks.
Breakfast was good, Dinner was better.
The room was nicely appointed with a/c in the room. Room was clean and neat with TV and alarm clock radio.
