PROS: We travel quite often and stay at 4 or 5 star resorts, but this heavenly piece of property has grabbed my heart and soul. Aerobics at the pool in the morning after tennis - Breakfast with the freshest giant heap of fresh berries - Accupuncture at the spa for any aches and pains - read a while down by Oak Creek - Great programs such as Native American stories from a Native American or star gazing thru a telescope - Catch red rock fever from the views - I'm hooked!!! Plus with Tlaquepaque some 50 feet away and the Institute of EcoTourism connected with the resort adds the "Green aspect" and romance aspects to this already magnificant grounds!
CONS: Wish they had a large firepit to mellow around in the evening. Parking at times can be testy. The rooms are not really attractive, but they are clean. I don't spend much time inside as it's the magic that awaits me on the other side of the door that keeps drawing me back. The only other spot in Sedona I really like after 6 or 7 trips out there is Enchantment Resort and it's further from town, twice the price and it's not quite as magical to me....
