We did this on a timeshare swap during the Christmas season where it was crowded because of the Christmas exhibits. I felt like we were sharing the resort with the world. On the good side, the restaurants on the property are fabulous. The spa was nice, too.
On the not so great side, the rooms were a great disappointment. Even though it was said to be remodeled, I think they need to go back to the drawing board. The bathroom was atrocious, and the shower faucets and plumbing need some improvement. Although the unit was clean, the one bedroom suite was small for what I expected. My daughter slept on the sofa in the living room, and it wasn't all that comfortable for her, and she weighed about 100 lbs. There was no oven, and when we arrived, our toaster oven was broken. The staff replaced it immediately, but it doesn't seem like these people really care what you think of their property. They all seem to act as if these are luxury condos, and they are not. I think they are living on an old reputation for being a 5 star, and I really don't consider this a 5 star hotel. We would never stay here again because as a Marriott timeshare holder, I am used to better quality in the rooms, but we would go back to the restaurants.
