“Awesome, and that's an understatement”

Family and I spent spring break here. The resort and staff are truly great. When you add the setting in the red rocks of Sedona, you have a very special and unique resort. We enjoyed it so much we have made plans to return in 2015. I highly recommend if you are ready for something that is a nice change of pace from the typical beach trip.

Room Tip: try to get a casita with a fireplace and deck, it makes for a nice way to enjoy the crisp evening an...

We have stayed at the Enchantment since the days of the former John Gardnier Tennis Ranch. We have stayed a number of times over the years and the service and the resort facilities along with the MI AMO SPA have always been tops. The is our favorite hiking area in Sedona. A great place relax and take in the beauty of the area. We always make a trip to Sedona when in Phoenix and Enchantment is the place. You get what you pay for.

Room Tip: We have stayed in various rooms through-out the resort but like a quite area with a view. Some rooms...

Simply amazing. The staff were authentically spiritual and loving. If you wish to surround yourself with good energy- this is the place for you. If you have experienced a big change in your life or will be experiencing a big change this is the place to get centered before or after or both!

Room Tip: pick a room near the spa if you will be going to the spa daily--although a short nice walk isn't...

This is a high class resort, with all imaginable amenities, perfect for mini vacation. The location is indeed enchanted. The resort grounds are well maintained and the service was always with a smile. The room was very comfortable and pleasant. The bathroom was very spacious and clean. The overall quality of accommodation was excellent.
The few, secondary, things that we were missing: cell phone reception (there were 3 of us, each with different service provider, and I found one 2 ft x 2 ft spot on the grounds that only I could make a phone call), any consistent strong wi-fi signal, a microwave oven in the room, a shuttle to Sedona (a nice, newer shuttle bus, with resort name and logo, is parked on the premises but, apparently, they don't have a driver for a while now).

Room Tip: Perhaps there are rooms with better wi-fi and cell phone access - check when you check in.

I spent a long weekend here with my adult daughter and simply can't say enough about how magical and peaceful Enchantment Resort, Boynton Canyon and Sedona are! I was concerned about the food from some of the previous posts but I wasn't disappointed except with breakfast at Mii Amo our first morning, it just wasn't spicy enough for us. But everything else was excellent especially the Avocolado Smoothies at Mii Amo Spa and the Buffalo Tenderloin at Che Ah Chi. The service was excellent at every turn. We arrived at 2:3o am and I had called to let them know we were running late. They met us at the front gate and quickly got us registered and settled in to our room. Our Casita was excellent but we unfortunately didn't spend much time there.....We are very independent travelers and didn't take part in any of the organized activities but had 3 excellent hikes - Bear Mtn, Boynton Canyon and Mungs Wagon trail. We had delicious body massages and facials at the Spa, enjoyed drinks and admired the canyon and stars around the fire and simply enjoyed the stupendous geography of Boynton Canyon. I would highly encourage anyone who loves nature, peace, quiet and excellent accomodations to stay here. Also a shout out to the woman who worked in the Gift Shop who hails from Chicago and now lives in Cottonwood - she was very sweet and very friendly and highly entertaining! IF you can swing the costs of this place, I highly recommend it!!

Room Tip: I doesn't appear you can go wrong with any room here...the canyon is all around you!

Where desert and forest kiss, the Enchantment Resort is nestled in the Secret Wilderness of the Coconino National Forest, upon 70 acres of gorgeous red rock terrain.
After a warm welcome from Enchantment Resort staff, we rested in our fire-lit pueblo-style room. The next morning we awoke to a day filled with activity options laced with magical service. Its friendly staff is what really makes the Enchantment Resort rock. Coupled with the happy hoopla from Suzy Lande in the resort's Activities Center sharing her exercise tips and free style hula hoops. Ms. Lande further set us up with complimentary mountain bikes with safety equipment for the nearby trails, a hiking map that took us around the curious canyon as well as Doe Mountain about a mile past the resort. Few trails offer the display of eye candy contained within the colorful Boynton Canyon and surrounding areas.

From start to finish, Boynton Canyon has it all, Ancient Indian ruins with awe-inspiring sights, lush forest, seasonal rain waterfalls and treasured trails lined with Alligator Juniper. The plants and wildlife move naturally between the resort and the wilderness with the area's number of species per acre being one of the highest found anywhere in the world. This panoramic view is shared by the cactus wren, doves, hawks and the hummingbirds that hover to sip nectar from the surrounding flora.

That evening we were pleasantly suprised to find our waiter, Ben Silver, a magician serving up delicious food accompanied by tasty tricks at the View 180, one of the many options at the Enchantment Resort. Our final day was filled with a rousing rally on the tennis courts.

Room Tip: The rooms closest to the backside canyon make for a real eye-opener early morning.

This resort is so beautiful and relaxing. My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights and didn't want to leave. The people so friendly, 24/7 heated pool, we watched the stars come out enjoying a Prickly Pear Margarita. Enjoyed a spa treatment at the Mii Amo Spa directly on the resort property. Walked the hiking trails around the Red Rock's....saw a Fox...was a blast!
We will be going back for sure.
