I stayed there in Aug. for one night. I was in town around 11:30 am. I asked them if I could check in early. Even though they were not sold out I couldn't check in early. The Indian guy at the front desk was pretty rude. He said, "It's only 11:30 and the check in time is at .." I said that I made it here early and asked they were sold out or not. He said they were and can't let anyone check in until the housekeeping is completely done. I am in a hotel business and that's such a terrible excuse. The housekeeping isn't cleaning every single room. There are some empty room that's ready. When I checked in that evening there were 2 ladies at the front desk. They were very nice and asked them if they were sold out. They said no and I said what happend in the morning. They were surprised that the guy lied about being sold out. The room was not good. The bathrrom was barely something like 4' by 5'. I found red hair in the towel and the room was very hot since the AC off. I paid a lot of money for that horrible service and room. There more places that's cheaper there. Why pay more and get terrible service when you can pay less and expect bad service?

“Love The Days Inn in Sedona”

We have stayed at the Days Inn in Sedona a few times, and always look forward to coming back! It's not one of those upscale luxurious hotels, (just two stories)but it's very very clean, and comfortable! The staff as aways been nothing but friendly to us, and always try their very best to accomodate us with whatever it is we need. We have one special room we always try to reserve, and so far (knock on wood) they have always been able to accomodate us. We're going back to Sedona in October 2008 ( just a little over 6 weeks from now) and I'm looking forward to calling the Days Inn home while we're there! I love sitting out on the 'private' balcony in the evenings and just watching the sunset. It's like nothing you've ever seen before! The rooms aren't huge, but certainly big enough for most travelers. If I had one negative to say about this hotel, it would be that the bathrooms could be a little bigger. They're not huge, but you don't spend alot of time in them anyway, so I guess if they had to skimp on space somewhere, then the bathroom was a good choice. They do have the sink on the outside of the bathroom though, so at least you can still get ready while the other party is showering, or bathing. Other than that everything was excellent! I don't have any reservations at all, about recommending this place!

My husband and I stayed at the Days Inn in Sedona, Arizona for one night on the way to the Grand Canyon.

The hotel was fully booked the night we were there. When we entered our room, the air conditioning was blowing full blast and it was freezing in the room. It was so cold that we had to shut off the air and open the windows and doors to warm it up in there. The room was your typical two double bed room - simple and to the point. We didn't use any of the amenities - pool, continental breakfast, etc, so can't comment on those.

We thought the hotel was nice and had a good experience (with the exception of the chilly room conditions), but thought that it was a little overpriced.

Sedona is beautiful though and I was so happy that we stopped on our way to the Grand Canyon.

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Canyon the night before and drove to Sedona. We arrived after a long travel at 2:30. Not knowing the check in time was 3pm, we attempted to check in. We were met with attitude from the front desk stating they had rules and our room would not be ready until 3pm. and it might not be ready then only if we were lucky. If it were not for my parents being with us we would not have tolerated the attitude of the front desk acting like they were doing us a favor by expediting our room so that it would be ready ON TIME! I would have found somewhere else to stay. I unfortantely do not know the name of the semi-retired woman at the front desk but needless to say I do not tolerate hotels that pride themselves on customer service and then allow their employeesto treat their guests in such a way to make you feel as though your time is worth nothing. Adivce. Do NOT try and check in early and for heaven's sake don't expect to get checkin on time unless you are lucky. Stay at the Hyatt.

“More than adequate”

We started a 3 week road trip at the Days Inn Sedona. It's a bit off the beaten path, but with all the construction downtown, I'd rather be in uptown or west Sedona anyway. The ladies who work at the front desk are wonderful and accomodating-good with restaurant recommendations.

We had a king suite and the other people in our party had a double. The only downside is that they were in separate buildings...we were hoping to be next door or closer, but that was just a small hitch. Room was nice, clean, shower was great. Pool is lovely, hot tub was clean and relazing. Breakfast was just fine. Bad Arizona bagels...but what can I say, I'm a New Yorker. Haven't had a good bagel since I came out here. Would definitely stay there again.
