My objective was to find an inexpensive room in Sedona so that I could do some exploring in the area and this meet the need. My expectations were set accordingly. The room (I had a king) was large, clean, neat. The furniture shows some wear, but the tv is flat screen HD and there is a good selection of satellite stations. The room had a microwave and refrigerator. Bathroom was small. Like some other hotels that ask you to re-use towels. they don't always stick with their own suggestions...they laundered the washcloths, hand towel and bathmat although I had put them all up. Pillows are lumpy and firmer than I like; sheets are ok, not scratchy. I had a 2nd floor room with the private balcony toward the pool side. I didn't explore the pool. As many others have said, the breakfast is poor quality: one type of cereal - corn flakes, danishes - no bagels or even bread to make toast, bananas, and hard boiled eggs. Skip it and go to Safeway for bagels or check out a restaurant for breakfast. The location is convenient to trails in the Boynton Canyon area, away from the hectic traffic of downtown, but easy to get there if that's what you want.
Room Tip: Upstairs is probably quieter, but all entrances are direct to outside and no elevators.
