When I began calling around Sedona to talk to B & B ' s, asking questions, the owner of the Wishing Well, Nita, was very open. She is so enthusiastic about this property, it was contagious so we booked it. We were going to be a little late so we called & Nita waited for us so that she could show us around the property. The room was wonderful & very private. The 2-person jacuzzi outside, under the stars- was amazing. The room was great - lots of personal touches. There were water bottles placed in the mini-fridg daily for us, there was a corkscrew, wine glasses & an ice bucket provided. There was a koi pond and a fire pit on the patio but it rained most of our trip so we didn't get a chance to enjoy those. We stayed in the newly renovated "Morning Glory." The bedding was amazing! They brought us breakfast on a cart that turned into a small table- what a spread! The only problem was that we are EARLY risers and found ourselves waiting for breakfast. When it did arrive, it was amazing - coffee, juice, fresh fruit, and lemon ginger waffles with lots of whipped cream! The website does not do the property justice so I took pictures for thsoe that are interested.

We booked on-line directly with the B & B.
Positives:
Beautiful view, very nice unit and very comfortable bed (probably one of the best) and a very gracious owner and hostess.

Negatives:
Iron not working, hot tub not working (temperature too hot - repairman came twice to no avail), telephone for local calls not working, in-room jacuzzi not working, and most of all - the breakfast served on all three days was not very palatable or delicious. Although the service was beautiful - lace tablecloths, china, etc., the food was not very good. On one day of the stay the breakfast was not edible - actually quite awful.

THIS B&B IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE CHARGED. Although, there were some very positive things, the negatives took over and I would not return to the B & B. I have stayed at B & Bs for the last 20 years and this is at the bottom of my list. The web site does not reflect that this B & B has recently been taken over by a new owner. I am sure all of the reviews were written in regards to the previous owner.

Wishing Well B & B not recommended.

We arrived by motorcycle, and, once up the steep hill (don't worry, it's really not that bad) we were warmly welcomed by the staff of this little hide-away up on the hill. Danitta (Nita) is the new owner, and she is just a wonderful, down-to-earth person. The hotel is right outside uptown (which we thought to be just a "tad" pretentious. Okay, extremely pretentious, but what r' ya gonna do?) and our room had the most amazing view of what Sedona is all about, those beautiful red rocks! I found this site on the internet and booked it by the pictures I saw and the reviews I read. I wasn't sorry one bit. The view is awesome, the rooms are warm and inviting (love the robes and candies), the hot tub, though a bit too hot (Nita said she'd be right on that, and I'm sure she is), the amenities in the room for your use, and the breakfast. Oh, the breakfast... Nita brings it to your room at a time you specify. Our breakfast was piping-hot belgian waffles, apple sausage, fresh sliced banana and strawberry, fresh squeezed orange juice, hot coffee, all served with the finest china and linens. Just beautiful. You know everything's okay when you go to a hotel with a tv junkie and you don't hear a peep out of them about no TV (did I mention there's no tv in the room?) Doesn't matter. There's binoculars, reading material about the area, a wonderful, private, hot tub just outside the door, and the most amazing view you'll ever wake up to!! This place is just wonderful! Go to Jerome while you're here, and also follow the Pink Jeeps to find the really great drives around here. I loved my stay at this Inn. I'll be back...

We've stayed at the Wishing Well twice, both times in the Sunrise, Sunset room. It is a charming place, with elegant furnishings and a lovely view. The room has a private deck with private hot tub. All in all, an extremely romantic setting, and perfect for a weekend getaway. The breakfasts are delivered directly to your room and are amazing. Views of red rocks from multiple windows.

Owner is very nice and goes out of her way to be helpful (e.g., dinner reservations, hiking recommendations).

Be aware that there are no TVs and the B&B is not actually in downtown Sedona.

We'd definitely stay here again.
While in Sedona, I'd highly recommend Dahl & Diluca and The Cowboy Club for dinner.

Great host, snuggly bed and robes, private deck with 2 person spa under the stars AND and gourmet treats for breakfast! Magical, relaxing, fresh and lovely. "Morning Glory" was the best place to wind up our trip to Sedona.

Be sure to travel north on 89A, park at the bridge and find your way to the lookout over the canyon in the late afternoon.

Enjoy!
