I had an amazing time at the Saddlerock Ranch. I stayed there for five nights and recommend this bed and breakfast very highly. The b&b owner Fran is wonderful--very friendly and helpful while also giving you your privacy and space. The homemade breakfasts are amazing--the views from the property are spectacular, and the rooms are cozy and pretty. The fireplace is made up every night so you can light a wonderful fire on the chilly winter nights. The house is lovely and welcoming, and the other guests were really nice too. It was fun to chat in the living room area at the end of the day with the other people staying there. Also, there is a path right outside the back of the house which leads you straight to one of Sedona's vortexes. In 5-10 minutes you can hike to an overlook which gives you a panoramic view of Sedona's red rock mountains--amazing. Overall, it was wonderful from beginning to end.

Great place to celebrate our 25 years together. The views were great and our saddlerock room was expansive and comfortable. Fran provided an excellent breakfeast and all the guests were friendly. The top selling point was that Fran provided excellent advice for our daily activities. This was especially helpful for first timers in the area. There is an excellent trail right behind the ranch.

My husband and I recently spent two nights (not long enough) at the charming Saddleback Ranch in Sedona. The small inn itself is very attractive and comfortable, but the setting adds a great deal. Sedona's greatest attraction is its stunning red rock scenery, and Saddleback Ranch affords panoramic views of the setting, great sunset skies, and also immediate access to a splendid hike just out the door. The pool was too chilly for my taste in March, but it too has glorious views and the deck provided a great spot for reading while admiring the scenery. Perhaps best of all, Fran, the innkeeper, couldn't have been more helpful, advising about restaurants and making reservations, suggesting sights, and giving helpful ideas for our trip to the Grand Canyon when we left. Everything we'd hope for in a B&B, and more.

Saddlerock Ranch is an excellent B&B. This is the second one we have stayed in In Sedona and although the one we stayed in prior was very nice, we enjoyed this one more.
This inn is built on a hillside so it is secluded and well away from any noise, It is very peaceful and serene. Each night we stayed we could hear the coyotes howling at night.
We stayed in the Saddlerock room which is the only one of the three attached to the main building. It is spacious, has a HUGE bed and a fireplace which was wonderful at night. The view from the bedroom window was awesome.
The inn has a slightly rustic appeal and decor, mixed with classy Southwestern. The place just has an atmospherer of relaxation to it. When we visited two other couples were ataying as well. They were both older couples but this B&B could cater to all age ranges of couples. Our room also had a day bed for smaller families. All of us staying there were enjoying the local area but also enjoying the peace and comfort of the inn. It was nice to ouside together chatting as we all watched the sun set before heading out to our various dinner locations.
Fran, the innkeeper, is a treasure trove of knowledge about the sights, activities and restaurants in Sedona. Do not hesitate to ask her anything. She is very helpful and is happy to make any reservations for you that she can. She has a great personality and is fun to talk to. She also cooks up a great breakfast.
Fran also has 2 small dogs, Butch and Sundance. They are very well behaved and will come out time to time to see what is going on and say hello. I love dogs so they were never an issue anyway. Fran does not allow them in the guest rooms though, they stay in her side of the house, outside or wander around the great room.
Hiking trails run right behind the house so bring your boots and enjoy. The trails ae wonderful.
My wife and I only stayed for two nights but would have loved to stay longer. This was our first trip alone in 15 months since the birth of our son and it was a nice respite from parenthood. We visit Sedona a few times a year for day trips, but if we decide to spend some more nights we would definitely try to stay in Saddlerock first.

This Bed and Breakfast was a find I hope to visit again. The view is spectacular for a place full of good views, the location great for hiking, restaurants, shopping as well as quiet surroundings. The innkeepers were friendly, helpful and offered great tips about the area. Breakfast was fabulous, the beds were great and the commons areas extremely welcoming and comfortable. I took my daughters to Arizona for a college graduation present and they adored this place. Fran and Brad have thought of everything you might need for a comfortable stay whether you are hiking, buying art or sitting in the hot tub. In a town with lots of great places to stay, this is the best way to go for a great vacation
