“Rustic Elegance at the Lodge”

Donna and I had a relaxing trip to Sedona for our anniversary weekend. The Lodge at Sedona took care of everything thing. They recommended a great place for dinner at Elote. Great food and atmosphere. The Lodge staff was welcoming and gave us great tips for outings in Sedona. The labyrinth on the property was calming and meditative. The chef "Devon" made an incredible breakfast that we ate on the outside porch overlooking through the pines we could see the beautiful red rocks. This place was charming and peaceful and will be back again next year. Thanks for the great time!

Room Tip: I would suggest the King rooms. Ours had a jetted tub. We also had an outside porch that we would...

Its a very cozy sweet place! Love the rustic rooms, and breakfasts outside on their patio were not only perfectly prepared but just so relaxing! Location is perfect to get around Sedona. Very safe here and so far off main road you never hear cars! Prices are reasonable for the area and all you get. Had couples massage arranged in room that was wonderful! Can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: Suites with king bed away from walking areas.

The lodge itself was very quite and nice. Loved the jacuzzi hot tub. Views were not that good as you do not have views of the red rocks from your room. But, they did disclose that. This was a deal with 50% off normal prices. Great deal for the location/room. I wouldn't pay full price to stay there though if it were $300 a nite. Breakfast was not that good. They indicated "gourmet breakfast" when all they served was a small fruit bowl, cresant, and piece of small ham. We don't recommend eating at the lodge. Eat out for breakfast for a real treat at a restaurant and views of the red rock mountains downtown. We actually had breakfast again after they served us their breakfast. It wasn't enough food. Also, the chefs were in the kitchen cooking what appeared to be really great food. But, that food was for their wellness guests and we felt excluded in possibly receiving some great meals. But, not sure. Rooms were nice...for the price of $150 / nite. I would not pay more.

The rates advertised online and for summer specials are not real! When you call to make a reservation they will add $40+ to the nightly rate. Manager was unwilling to honor the deal quoted by her fellow co-worker. Overpriced and unfriendly!

My husband and I will return to The Lodge as we had such a marvelous two-night stay. The staff was professional and friendly, the location enchanting and the breakfasts were delicious. The chocolate, heart-shaped birthday cake was a delicious surpirse - thanks!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Desert Trail Room and had a private deck. The layout of The Lodge makes it easy to...

Just a few note, never changed the towels, 2 small bath, 2 hand towels and wash cloths. Tacky old quilted bedspread.
Dark walls and unattractive room.. No one on duty from 7pm to 7am. No phones in room. Jacuzzi did not work.
Breakfast was terrible coffee, watermelon pieces, veggie sausages with eggs and rice pancakes. No muffins juice or
toast. Forget the view, surrounded by houses and buildings being built. Air conditioner not to be lower than 70 degrees.
$300 for two nights. Defiitely not worth it, I should have camped at one of the campgrounds. Go to Santa Fe. Sedona
has beautiful scenery but one night should do it. But not here. Very disappointed.

Room Tip: Check out the hotels. This was a bed and breakfast. I usually stay at a Marriott or Hyatt or Holi...

My friend and I just got back from a 4 day 3 night trip to Sedona over the July 4th holiday and weekend. Staying at the Lodge at Sedona was a highlight of our trip. It was wonderful to explore the activites and energy of Sedona and come back to a calm, intimate, and comfortably elegant place to rest. The Lodge is a secluded Mission/Arts & Crafts style B&B with a rich warm ambiance all around. It's warm woodsy feeling is a wonderful contrast to the beautifully bright red rocks of Sedona. The common areas were immaculate and comfortable as well as our rooms. I loved the Moon Dance Room (upstairs) that I stayed in. My friend was in the Desert Trail Room (ground floor) which had a private patio that gave access to lovely grounds; offering garden seating, paths to walk, as well as an interesting Labyrinth to explore for calm contemplation. The breakfasts and coffee were delicious and the atmosphere in the Lodge was delightful. Offering filtered water, hot tea, lemonade and coffee all day they also provided a snack of a home made baked item as well as appetizers in the late afternoons. The staff was professional, cheerful, and very helpful while also being respectful of privacy. There was a construction project (2 homes being built) in the neighboring property, however we were very fortunate not to not notice any noise by it during our visit. We will be back!
