2 nights in the Duck Pond room (each room is different) on the upper floor with a queen bed, lovely room with fireplace, deck overlooking the creek, big bathroom with jacuzzi bath. You can see some of the other rooms while you're there and they all look lovely. I would suggest avoiding those on the road side or on the ground floor but they still look very nice. Pam and the rest of the staff are as helpful and attentive as you would like (not too much either!). The huge served breakfasts are certainly filling although perhaps a little fussy for my taste but then you can pick and choose the bits you want. The building is very plain from the roadside but absolutely charming when you get inside. A TREASURE.

Stayed in both the "Hollywood Out West" and "Trading Post" rooms during our stay. I loved the comfort and decor of Hollywood Out West (bedroom-sized, with sink in the room) while my husband preferred the spaciousness of the Trading Post (with a sitting area near the fireplace). Both were an upstairs room, with fireplace and double whirlpool tub. Pictures of all rooms are on Inn on Oak Creek's website. The Trading Post is considered one of their "streetside" rooms - no balcony overlooking the creek, just a window to the highway. Hollywood Out West has a small terrace but not directly above the creek. If you don't need a deck/balcony and hate to spend money, I say go with a street side room as it is priced the best (if you don't need a double whirlpool tub, consider the "Apple Orchard", which is the lowest price room - it looks nicer in person than in the picture - will consider this room on our next Sedona trip) and you can get a AAA discount on it too (when you factor in breakfast, the Inn can be a better deal than a hotel).

The Inn is perched above the creek. It is also RIGHT on the highway - which actually makes it quite convenient to walk to nearby shopping areas. The highway noise from the streetside room isn't very bothersome, especially if you're out sightseeing during the day. The one room that seemed iffy to me was, I believe, "Homestead Hearts." It's downstairs right by the dining area. Didn't seem very private to me, at least not from the outside.

This is a AAA 4-diamond B&B, so expect attentive service. Since this is a larger B&B, you get personal service with the freedom to keep to yourself like in a hotel. The 4-course breakfast is delicious. We didn't eat lunch any of the days we were there, but didn't feel stuffed-to-the-gills after breakfast either. We made sure to schedule our plans so that we were back "home" for early evening snacks before heading off to dinner. There was always a pitcher of iced tea, water, and a plate of sweet treats in the lobby to greet you after a day of sightseeing. Our first B&B experience was a success!

Wonderful location right on the creek, yet within walking distance of galleries, restaurants and shops. The rooms are very comfortably furnished with obvious attention to detail in both their decor and amenities, such as nicer-than-usual robes, bubble bath, wine glasses & corkscrew, etc. They're also immaculate. Our 2nd floor room had a deck over the creek and a huge jacuzzi tub with picture window views of the treetops. Breakfast can be taken indoors or on a large deck. The pace is very relaxed and the portions are overly-generous. The staff is friendly and attentive. Not surprisingly, the inn is listed in the Select Registry of Distinguished Inns of North America. We'd definitely recommend it if you like large B&B's or small inns with impeccable rooms and a relaxing atmosphere.

This place rocks! We stayed in The Duck Pond Room. It was perfect. Very private, but conveniently located so you can walk to all the shopping.
The service is first rate. You will want for nothing. The delicious breakfasts are so huge that you can comfortably skip lunch. They will even pack you some of the homemade muffins for your hike. If you are researching B&B's in Sedona, look no more. You won't do better than The Inn at Oak Creek. First class all the way!

My husband and I have stayed probably at 95% of the proterties in Sedonas (of the good B&B's and the Resorts only). This is my favorite! We love Pam the innkeeper and look forward to seeing her everytime we return. The inn is so cozy and the Angler's Retreat is wonderful (that is where we always stay). We feel right at home w/the Ralph Lauren bedding/shower curtains, burber carpet, in-room fireplaces etc.. One person wrote about the freeway in front, I honestly always have had a water view so I have never heard anything. It is very peaceful waking up to the ducks all swimming and either looking out the window or off the balcony. Also love the jetted tubs.
