“Creekside Inn - Privacy with Sociability”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

Mark and Tammy were very gracious hosts. They ensured that we were able to get in despite our late arrival after a very long day on the road. Our room was peaceful and quiet. Next morning it was helpful to see the names of other guests posted on a chalkboard. The breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. Even though all the guests had their own table for breakfast, we were all close enough to enjoy conversation and share travel experiences.

Our room had its own patio which afforded a peaceful opportunity to read out in the fresh air. Little condiments supplied in the room were most welcome when we used them to supplement our picnic lunch in Oak Creek Canyon.

Mark was very helpful in providing information on nearby restaurants. His recommendation proved to be excellent and we enjoyed dinner at Dahl & DiLuca. All-in-all this was a delightful stay and we would recommend the Creekside Inn to any travelers looking for a pleasant and restful stay.

My father & I came up to Sedona for a week getaway in mid July. The Creekside Inn has been on my list of places to stay & I finally had the opportunity to do so & what an experience it was.
We booked 3 of the rooms while we were there & although all were nice, the Creekview was my favorite. It had a large patio with a beautiful view of the creek. One can also view the creek from
the large patio off of the dining room. One can walk along the creek on one of the paths on the property. The rooms were large, nicely decorated according to theme & comfortable. Each had its
own perks.
Mark and Tammy go above and beyond for their guests, from last minute reservation revisions if possible, to directions, what to see & do while in Sedona, to what goes on during the year.
The breakfast Tammy creates is delicious & reminded me of some of the better restaurants, with added touches such as real rosemary sprigs. We sat in the dining room overlooking the patio & watched the squirrels gather nuts. If you're lucky, you may see a deer.
My dad & I had a wonderful time there & the Creekside Inn is on my list for return trips. Very peaceful!

We had a nice experience at the Creekside Inn. The grounds are beautiful, and the breakfasts were excellent. We stayed in the Sovereign Suite, which had front and back entrances outside the main house. We enjoyed walking down to the creek, eating fresh apples off the tree, and sitting on the lawn swing. There were complementary snacks, sodas, and coffee/tea in the rooms.

The quality of the rooms was sub-par, though, with many things that needed upkeep or repair. One of the bathroom drawer handles had fallen off. The trim work was sloppy. Water leaked out of the faucet handles. The front entrance door looked like someone had tried to break in. The Victorian styling was only half-heartedly executed; the furniture did not match itself, and the decor seemed assembled from rummage sales. If the rooms were renovated, the experience would be better.

As always we appreciate the feedback from our guests it points out things we have missed.
The door and the frame have been replaced ( this was scheduled as part of our remodel) The trim has been tidied up and the leaking faucet has been fixed, as for the furniture it is authentic 1800 Victorian and there are some beautiful solid oak and walnut pieces in the room all in very good condition, this i think may be a matter of taste.

To celebrate my 50th birthday my husband and I decided to visit Sedona and the Grand Canyon. We stayed at the Creekside Inn for three nights on our way to the Canyon. Everything was perfect! The grounds are magnificent. The tranquil setting allowed for a lot of rest and peaceful reflections. Mark and Tammy were most hospitable; their knowledge of Sedona was very helpful. The Breakfasts were AMAZING! and dinner at the Inn was very romantic. We have stayed in many B&D and this one is on the top of our list. Our stay was a beautiful and memorable experience.

My boyfriend and I stayed here one night while we were passing thru to the Grand Canyon. Such a cozy b&b. We loved how our room had a private entrance. There's a creek in the back that you can walk down to. I discovered an apricot tree and enjoyed a fresh picked apricot in the morning. I woke up early and saw some Havelinas that were eating grass in the next yard. I took a walk down the road and enjoyed the amazing scenery. Pictures i took did no justice at all for how it looked. The breakfast was delicious. Inn keepers were so nice and helpful with recommending place to eat or things to see. We had such a nice time. Such a romantic setting. We would definitely return. :)

Last weekend we had a 150 guest wedding ceremony and reception at the Creekside Inn. Tammy and Mark are exceptional hosts! We reserved the B&B and the grounds for the weekend and had a great time. Our guests raved about the facility and the beautiful setting. We highly recommend Creekside for a weekend stay or an event. You will be highly satisfied!
