We spent two wonderful nights at the Briar Patch Inn. It's just a few miles outside of Sedona, but is light-years away from the busy-ness of the town. We stayed in the Heron cottage, which I recommend highly. It's a stand-alone cottage, where some of the others are shared. In addition to the main room, there were two bedrooms and a small kitchen. My kids loved the porch swing and the hammock next door. The weather was cool and wet when we were in Sedona, and it was wonderful to come back and light a fire in our fireplace both nights. The breakfast buffet was small but very tasty. This inn probably wouldn't be for everyone. If you're looking for a stylish room in the middle of the action, you won't be happy here. But if you're looking for a cozy inn where the sound of the creek puts you to sleep, don't look any further.
