“Average chinese”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

We live in Los Angeles and have been spoiled by the large number of authentic Chinese restaurants offering many different cuisines from Szechua, Hunan, Cantonese and northern Chinese. We don't expect to find such restaurants in other cities and the Szechuan Restaurant was no exception. The interior is very elegant and they have a special "Martini Bar" offering specialty drinks. The service was good, but the food was nothing special if you were expecting authentic Szechuan cuisine. My wife is Chinese and has very high standards for Chinese restaurants.

“The soups were awesome and sashimi fresh!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012 via mobile

Came here with the family after a strenuous hike on very cold, snowy day. The soups were excellent, service superb, and sashimi fresh. Also the Beef and Broccoli was delicious. To make the whole family happy is hard to do, but this restaurant did just that. We will definely be here again when we come back next year. I hope you enjoy too!!

“Fresh and delicious, great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012

All I can say is yum. I went with my 2 kids here and we were greeted by a lovely host at the front, our waitress was exceptional too. We ordered quickly and the food arrive 5 mins later. Huge servings and very fresh ingredients. We ordered Mongolian beef, sesame beef and a chicken dish that I cant remember the name. The first 2 dishes were outstanding, the chicken was good but not 100% our personal taste. We are going back again before we leave Sedona, most dishes are $11 to $12 which I think is very reasonable. Dishes come with your choice of white, brown or egg rice..

“My new favorite for sushi & martinis”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

Our first experience was on the recommend from a friend and we were not disappointed. We tried numerous sushi rolls and three differnent kinds of sashimi- salmon, tuna and red snapper. Everything was very fresh and delicious. There are many adventurous rolls to choose from however we loved the 'Spicy Girl', 'Diablo Roll' and the 'Volcano Roll'. Don't miss the 'Skittle Drop' martini- hopefully Gary is bartending because he makes them the best. We are regulars now & have been having fun trying the Chinese food- anything on the menu that has 'sizzling' in front of it is delicious and comes as it says, sizzling at your tableside. Give this place a try and tell Wong we say, 'Hello!'.

“Great food, great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

I brought a group of 16 to Sedona for a week of hiking. We ordered take-out from Szechuan Restaurant for our first night in Sedona. The owner Jerry was helpful in assisting with the order and suggested food that would transport well to our hotel. Jerry personally delivered the food right on time. Everyone loved the food, even the ethnic Chinese woman in our group. That is saying something!
