This was our first stay in the Fairfield Sedona resort. It was a great vacation for us!
The resort is very nice and well kept. No issues reserving a unit. We stayed in a two bedroom, two bath unit. We had nice views of Sedona's red rocks. Our unit was on the second floor (there are only two floors). There are no elevators, just stairs. Parking is right outside the units, so very accessible
The only drawback to the stay was when we checked in. If you are a Fairfield owner, you get bugged and continually asked to attend their 1 or 2 hour "owner's meeting." We've found these to just be a sales pitch. So, when asked to attend we said no. Well, the gentleman kept asking and asking us to attend. He stopped when we had to be a little mean and just say "give us our car tag and map please." Other than that, the staff was very courteous.
We spent some time with our 3-year-old in the rec room, playing games, foosball and air hockey. They also have free Internet service where you can check email and such. The resort has planned activities but we did not participate in them.
There are some walkways on the grounds and we walked them once or twice. Also, the resort is within driving distance of many restaurants and outdoor activities, e.g. hiking, biking.
It was a very nice stay at the Fairfield Sedona resort. We would love to go back and I would highly recommend it to folks.
