“Beautiful view of the Red Rocks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

This resort is smaller than most Wyndhams we have stayed in but this was a nice change. The location is great, near the main street through town. Love the pool was open 24 hrs. One night we stayed in the jacuzzi until 3am watching the stars which are incredible, saw 3 shooting stars. We had a 1 bedroom deluxe, very spacious, our balcony was huge but didn't have a table. Staff was nice. They did not pressure us with the timeshare sales. They asked, we said no, and never heard about it again. Beautiful view of the red rock mountains. The only complaint I would have is the noise. We could hear everything in our room, including people talking in the unit next to us which woke me up every morning.

The man and woman at the Concierge Desk were way too pushy in trying to sell us on timeshares. They wouldn't give up on trying to sign us up for a presentation lunch or breakfast after we had said no thankyou many times. They started asking personal questions! Finally my husband had to raise his voice and the man got angry and told us to leave! Wow! Not a good way to present timeshares for sale. I wrote an email to the Vice-President and received a lukewarm response. This situation made our stay in Sedona unpleasant, as we have never been treated so rudely!

We recently spend 4 days in Sedona. The Wyndham property is very nice. It is a block or two off the main drag and is well maintained. The unit we stayed in was very nice with up to date furnishings and appliances. The bed was very comfortable and up to date bathroom. The property is close to many restaurants and the main part of town. Hiking and biking are also just a short drive away. For the most part a quite and peaceful property. We could occasionally hear loud bangs from the commercial property behind our unit, ? trash or pallets. The central air makes more noise than I would prefer. Good pool and hot tub, friendly and helpful staff. Overall an enjoyable stay, would stay there again.

Room Tip: Rooms on west and south sides are quieter

Sedona is beautiful, and the Wyndham lets you take it all in. It's a short drive from the main part of town where most restaurants are and excursions leave from. There are several restaurants and a few bars within walking distance, too. After a long day of hiking, relax in the pool or hot tub. Listen to live music and roast marshmallows right on the pool deck. Sit on your balcony and watch the sunset over the redrocks while having a beer from the nearby brewery. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They can really help you get the most out of your trip. Just ask to not be in a room with a connecting door to another unit, as the doors are thin and you can hear your neighbors more than you will like. I will definitely visit sedona and stay at this Wyndham again.

This Wyndham resort was everything I've come to expect from Wyndham. The one bedroom unit was over 900 square feet with a large living room and oversized bedroom. Located in downtown Sedona, shopping was within walking distance. A side trip to Jerome, AZ is a must. Would visit again and again.

We had two rooms connected on the first floor. We had no problems at all with this place. We stayed on the week of Christmas on December 2012. The rooms were clean, had a safe, and all staff were very courteous and friendly.
Our view was very calm and serene trees. We ate breakfast in the patio because we were impressed with scenery.
I booked this suite 6 months in advance.

We just came home from a week at Wyndham Sedona and I wish I was still there. The staff, the room, the area were all just superb. We went with friends of ours and stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The kitchen was fully loaded, separate baths for each bedroom and two outside sitting areas with spectacular views from both! The staff was there for every need and they were all pleasant and informative. I would definitely recommend Wyndham Sedona to any couple or friends wanting to get away from it all. It is marvelous!
