It is everything their website shows and MORE! You do get your monies worth on this beautiful and unique property. We stayed in the Twin Kyody villa for 6 nights!. Most comfy bed ever, huge jacuzzi for tall people in bathroom. Neat shower with skylight. Great views from room and plenty of natural light to let the energy in when you want. Fresh baked bread baking in room every day and it is GOOD! Complimentary butter, jams and jellies and water and juices in your mini fridge every day. Not to mention the assortment of munchies they replace in room each day. The lobby can be entered even at night with your room key to hear wonderful music playing and to eat the homemade goodies left out!! Computer and printer in lobby, as well as internet in each villa. Clean rooms and sparkling pool. Comp breakfasts were gourmet and wonderfully served with lots of warm hospitality indoors or outdoors on the shaded patio by the pool. Beautiful flowers, plants and surprises around every turn! This is a stay you will not want to miss! You will not regret spending the money staying here. We loved the area, it is a block off the main drag, easy access to everywhere you want to go, but is nice and quiet and relaxing. The staff has been wonderful and helpful and friendly. If we ever get the chance to come to Sedona again, THIS is where we would stay again, NO DOUBT! I am sure you will be renewed with new energy and a clear mind as we were!

Our three-night stay at Adobe Grand Bed and Breakfast was completely amazing. Everything was excellent: the food, the room, the service, and the staff.

Three-course breakfasts alternate daily between divinely devilish sweets (think home-made beingets and french toast) and savory (omelets, fancy sausages and the like). The dining room is open from 8:30 to 10:00 A.M., so mornings can feel leisurely, if that's your preference. The longer window for breakfast also means that there are fewer guests in the dining room at any one time. In fact, although the resort was at maximum capacity while we were there, it felt like our own, private resort. It was wonderfully romantic.

Every afternoon there is an appetizer served in the dining room, and the executive chef, Michael Merilli, also offers a gourmet dinner menu. Selections are delivered and served in your room. The menu looked totally amazing. Next time that will be on the list of things to do, for sure.

Our room was AMAZING. We stayed in a suite with the most gorgeous bathroom I've ever seen. There was a second bath upstairs, but I never used it, since wild horses couldn't drag me out of the bath downstairs! With a fireplace to warm our towels, a huge spa-tub, gorgeous tile and marble details, Aveda bath products (yummy) and a shower larger than many apartments I've lived in, it was beyond beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable fitted with scrumptious linens. We had a private patio. The decor is very thematic: our room was Wild West meets Ritz Carleton. Other rooms have other themes, like French Quarter, Wagon Wheel, etc. You can check them out on the website www.AdobeGrandVillas.com.

Did I mention there was a loaf of bread baking in our kitchenette when we checked in? Yeah, and butter and jam in the refrigerator. Our room smelled like heaven. It was hard to leave.

The service was impeccable. Everyone was extremely pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable about Sedona's attractions. There were guide books available at the hotel to help plan your time. Mostly, I just wanted to lounge by the pool and enjoy the gorgeous landscaping. The Adobe Grand was like an oasis in the most beautiful desert you've ever seen. The staff made us feel like family. I wanted to stay forever. You will too.

“Great Stay, Wonderful Service”

Janesville, Wisconsin
May 20, 2008

Having stayed at a neighboring B&B a few years ago while the Adobe Grand Villas were being built, my wife Peggy and I had to return and see how it turned out. As we expected, our stay at the Adobe Grand Villas was great. From the moment we checked in at the front desk we were extremely impressed by the excellent customer service. After a long day of red rock hiking we just wanted to relax and enjoy our wonderful room, "Whispering Pines". One of the hostesses,Tonya, walked us to our room and when the door opened the aroma of the fresh baked bread greeted us. She gave us the grand room tour, everything about the room was great, and asked if we had plans for dinner. Since we ate a late lunch and had a loaf of bread waiting for us we decided to stay in and enjoy all the room's ammenities. Tonya mentioned some of the better local restaurants (Heartline Cafe, for example) do carryouts and she even offered to go pick up an order if we desired! This was too much to ask for and we politely declined her offer but this was an example of how far the Adobe Grand's staff will go to ensure that your stay with them is special.
Each morning the breakfasts served in the dining area were very good and unique. We scheduled a couples massage for our first day through the office and had a wonderful experience in the separate building used for these treatments. We also had a private dinner scheduled with Chef Michael in the dining room. The food was simply amazing and with the wine we brought with us (they do not have a liquor license) we had a truly great evening. We really enjoyed the time Michael spent talking with us during the dinner discussing the meal, his background and his own favorite dining establishments in the area. We took a sinful desert back to the room for a late snack. After a late night dip in the hot tub by the fire pit we enjoyed the rest of the evening in our wonderful room.
The next morning we asked for a late checkout and Tonya was able to assist us as well as showing us another room we had an interest in when we come back with friends in the fall.
Having stayed at other excellent B&B's in Sedona & Oak Creek (Graham Inn, Casa Sedona, The Lodge at Sedona and El Portal) the Adobe Grand Villas facilities were better than all but it was the special customer service that we experienced that will bring us back often in the future.

“Charming Hotel”

Enjoyed our recent visit to this well-appointed boutique hotel. Each villa is cleverly and uniquely-decorated to a theme and worth peeking into, if you have the chance. (We liked every one we saw). Very private stay despite closeness of the units. Room was so comfortable and charming, probably spent more time there than we should.

Hotel is just off the main highway and a bit difficult to identify given discrete signage. While it is not within walking distance of the main shopping district, it is convenient and flanked by other hotels, shops, and restaurants along the highway. (Should mention that downtown Sedona is currently under construction and long delays are commonplace. Definitely detrimental to enjoying the beautiful scenery.)

Excellent complimentary breakfast. Free internet availability. Pool a tad small and not very secluded, for those inclined to spend time sunning. Outside jacuzzi also available. Staff very agreeable and helpful.

Strongly recommend the Heartline Café nearby for dinner, especially their signature pecan-encrusted fresh trout. Also, try visiting the Enchantment Resort to sit on their outside terrace for drinks or appetizers and watch the sun set on the beautiful red rocks of Boynton Canyon while downing cactus margarita’s.

We anticipated visiting Sedona for 10 years and finally made arrangements to experience this part of the world. People say anticipation is greater than the reality, but our stay at the Adobe Grand Villas surpassed our expectations. We spent 2 nights in the French Quarter and 2 nights in Sagebrush Villa and spent every moment in pure bliss. The detail in every corner was amazing, as was the glorious jacuzzi tub and unique shower. Every review previous to ours says it all. The breakfasts were delightful and the rooms equipped with anything you might need to tantalize all the senses from the smell of baked bread to the softness of the comfortable bed basking in the warmth of the fireplace. We make it a point to dine in different venues, so take advantage of the dinners just down the road - Savannah for filet mignon and seabass, Barking Frog for Mexican, Dahl and Deluca for Italian and closer to the downtown area, Cowboy Club for burgers and Rene for French. Yummy! We were able to visit all 4 major vortexes in one day - Bell, Cathedral, Airport and Boynton and on the way to the Grand Canyon, it is imperative to see the Sunset Crater and neighboring Indian Ruins. These left a bigger impression than the big daddy canyon. The staff at AGV was more than professional, for their warmth and friendliness was undeniably part of the whole experience of healing. We highly recommend renting a convertible as the scenery to and from the airport and surrounding Sedona was remarkable with the top down. We believe God truly kissed Sedona and the angels reside at Adobe Grand Villas. We look forward to returning next year and already plan on staying at the Whispering Pines Villa and enjoying a personal dinner prepared by the resident chef Michael. Thanks for the wonderful experience. Wayne & Roberta Wind, Darien, Illinois.
