“Lovely charming special hidden gem in Sedona.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013 via mobile

Adobe Grand Villas lives up to its rave reviews. We stayed in the White Dove Villa and everything in it was perfect including the view from the balcony. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of good advice on restaurants and hiking options.
Loved the 4pm snacks they put out in the lobby. We enjoyed some great pizza and delicious homemade cookies. This is an excellent boutique B and B worthy of being a great choice for a special occasion.

Last year we traveled to Sedona for our wedding. We chose the Adobe Grand Villas because we read that it is one of the top 10 resorts in the US. We stayed in the Sagebrush room. 2nd Floor. When we arrived we knew we were in for something special and we were correct! Adobe Grand Villas treats you like royalty! Our room was perfectly decorated to fit the Arizona atmosphere. Fresh bread is baked in your room and that is the first thing you smell when you enter. The rooms are all themed with amazing touches. The bathroom is very spacious with large whirpool tub, wak in shower and double sinks. There is a small kitchen area with snacks ready for you to enjoy. Every day you can have a delicious breakfast created by Chef Michael. In the afternoon there are delightful snacks in the lobby area. Coffee and drinks are always available. We have never stayed in a resort like Adobe Grand Villas. This year we returned for our anniversary and stayed in the Wagon Wheel room which was truly unbelievable. The creative touches in this room abound. Just looking around the villa, you are aware of how important those personal touches were to the designer of the Adobe Grand Villas rooms. Our room featured an actual wagon surrounding the comfortable bed. Each villa has an outdoor patio area and you are free to use the pool on premises. Be sure to schedule a meal with Chef Michael in either the dining room or for a romantic and special occasion, your own room. Thank you Adobe Grand Villas for another memorable stay! See you next year!

Room Tip: We will be coming here every year to celebrate our anniversary. The rooms are all amazing.

Just completed a 5 night stay. Room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the service was outstanding. Bread maker in the room with fresh bread made daily was a nice touch. Close proximity to hiking and restaurants was nice. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights in one of the rooms (each room in this hotel is designed unique). The room was very large, spacious, with two fire places in the bedroom and master bathroom, with natural light through the skylights and generous windows, well themed design, privacy, and spectacular views of the mountains in Sedona. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in one of the rooms. But the most notable aspect of our stay was the superb service and friendly and accommodating staff who anticipated our needs. For instance, we had fresh bread in our room every day, special vegan meal prepared and served in our suite, and many other small touches that were special and we have not experienced elsewhere. We highly recommend this hotel and plan to return to Sedona and Adobe Grand Villas and try another unique room in the place.

My wife and I spent our anniversary here and really liked the quiet wonderful rooms. The fresh bread maker in the room tops it off. Pleasant staff too. Would go back time and time again. Take wine and snacks and enjoy the bread.

Room Tip: I want to try all the rooms

We stayed only two nights in the Wagon Wheel Room but made memories that will last forever.

The experience starts as soon as you park your car and head to the reception. The architecture, gardens and lobby are gorgeous. Then just wait until you get to your room. It's is the best place to play "eye spy" ever! Seriously, it's like you are sleeping on a movie set or spending a night at the museum!

Shortly after settling into our room our two children (they shared the pull down Murphy bed) discovered that the TV wasn't working. We called the problem in and had the good fortune to meet and spend time with the Chef/Manager and the owner's grandson. They tried everything to get the TV working to no avail.

Sadly, the TV issue persisted throughout the stay however management went above and beyond our expectations and graciously applied a credit against the room, we didn't have to ask. This was after other thoughtful gestures, like getting us tickets to the movie theater and complimentary coffee/travel mugs!

We ask our children, which hotel they enjoyed the most on our drive around Arizona vacation? "The Wagon Wheel Room!" they reply. Why? "The room was amazing", plus they say: "the free food/nibbles!" You know what they say: if the children are happy, the parents are too!

Room Tip: When will you ever have the opportunity to sleep in a wagon? Go for the wagon wheel room!

I've just spent a few nights in Sedona at the Adobe Grand Villas with friends and each one of us loved it! We were pampered, fed deliciously and made to feel very special. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Couldn't have been more 'simpatico'.

Room Tip: Each room has a different ambiance. I only saw two...the 'Antiquities' and the 'French...
