“A Magical Get-Away”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

My husband and I are so thrilled we chose the Adobe Grand Villas to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was truly a magical get-away. The attention to detail was awesome from fresh flowers and baked bread on our arrival to the sumptous breakfast and dinner dining. Our villa, the Twin Coyote, was 1st class in every detail, with the fireplaces my personal favorite and the views! Both Mary and chef Michael made us feel not just special, but at home during our stay. We thank them both for making our anniversary celebration so memorable.

Hello Theresa,

WE are so glad you chose to spend your 25th with us, we love special occasions at the Adobe Grand, such kind and wonderful guests as yourselves, make our job, not a job at all. I enjoyed preparing your dinner and look forward to meeting you both again on future special occasions or even the occasion to just get away!

Although I visit Adobe Grand Villas a couple times a year, they never cease to amaze me with the amazing rooms and EXCEPTIONAL service. This visit was to celebrate my birthday and rejuvenate my mind, body and spirit. The fantastic staff made me feel as though I was visiting family; the wonderful gift basket of fruit and chocolate, a happy birthday balloon with a scented candle and a piece of chocolate cake with a birthday candle went above and beyond.

As for the gourmet breakfast every morning….I could not wait to get out of bed and down to the dining room to feast!

I have traveled all over the country and have stayed a various resorts, but not one comes close to Adobe Grand Villas.

Room Tip: All of the themed rooms are amazing but my favorite is Sedona Breeze.

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Adobe Villas from February 3rd until the 7th. We would stay in no other place when we go back to Sedona. When we got there we were given a tour and taken to our room and all you could smell was the wonderful baked bread that was waiting for us. It was delicious. The breakfasts were absolutely fabulous and the snacks waiting in the room hit the spot. We were in the Cactus Room and loved having the two fireplaces and the wonderful whirlpool tub. The staff were great and anything we asked for or about was taken care of. This is a place that you absolutely must stay if you are going to Sedona. The Adobe Grand Villas will make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. We wish we could have stayed there the entire week instead of having to go to Scottsdale for a business meeting.

Room Tip: Any room would be perfect.

The fresh baked bread and greeting from Gabe made for a special, warm welcome. We stayed in the Whispering Pines villa and enjoyed the patio, fireplace and waterfall style shower. I was impressed by all of the staff and the breakfasts were incredible. We also got perfect recommendations for activities and restaurants. We didn't get a chance to do Spa treatments but from our other experiences, I imagine you would not be disappointed. This place is quaint and quiet and a place for lots of great memories to be made. Thank you to everyone, we can't wait to return!

My husband and I celebrated our 46th wedding anniversary at the Adobe Grand Villas. We have traveled quite a lot and appreciate the little niceties in hotels ,,, and bed and breakfasts especially. Well, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we were couldn't have been happier! Our room (Sedona Breeze) was very spacious and very clean and the appointments were wonderful! There was a fireplace at the foot of our bed and a fireplace right next to the tub for two in the bathroom. The generous supply of complimentary snacks and water were most welcome and were refilled daily. We were even provided with a complimentary fruit basket in honor of our anniversary! Our breakfasts were to die for ... and Jacqueline, the chef, was very gracious and friendly. We both enjoyed a massage for two at the spa and it was heavenly! It is very close to town, red rock trails, restaurants and Tlaquepaque. We took the Pink Jeep 11-hour tour to the Grand Canyon and thoroughly enjoyed it! We were picked up and dropped off at Adobe Grand Villas. We will definitely make this a place we visit again!

Room Tip: Loved Sedona Breeze! It doesn't have a view of the red rocks, but we didn't care. We had a...

This bed-and-breakfast was very nice. If you evening hors d'oeuvres, which fresh-baked cookies were nice way to start the trip. We had two delicious breakfasts, a wild mushroom omelette, with apple chicken sausage, and an apple stuffed crêpe with crispy bacon was perfectly cooked. There is a Breadmaker in the room, with fresh-baked raisin bread upon your arrival. The rooms all had very interesting themes, architecture and designs. It was nice to have a fireplace both in the bedroom and the bathroom. We used the Jacuzzi tub, with a few glasses of bubbly, it was very relaxing. The innkeepers were all very helpful. The only negative would be the position of the TV in the room, As it is off the side of the bed, and the timer on the fireplaces, which only allowed for 30 minutes at a time. Likely the reason that we notice these details were because it was snowing and hailing during our visit, and we spent most of one day in the room. That being said, It was nice to actually spend time in the room that we spent a lot of money on. I will very likely return.

While we are not able to control the weather, we are so glad you were able to enjoy your stay with us and indulge in the amenities we offer. The smell of the bread is indeed one of our comforts to make guests feel at home especially on inclement weather days! We look forward to your return, on hopefully better weather terms!

We never dreamed we would come to Sedona for a four-day getaway weekend and the weather would be cold and rainy! The good news is that our decision to stay at the Adobe Grand Villas has been one of the best choices in accommodations we have ever made! As we sit snuggling by the fireplace in our villa (the Sagebrush Suite) on this rainy Saturday afternoon (when we were supposed to be out on a self-guided ATV adventure) we thought we would take some time to pen a "review-in-progress" halfway during our stay at this amazing boutique property. There is so much we want to gush about, we thought it would be helpful to offer our thoughts in a classic Top Ten format:

10. Centrally located to everything you want to see and do in Sedona. However, when you are inside the grounds of Adobe Grand Villas you feel like you are a million miles away from the tourist traffic and bustle. We loved a partial view of the Red Rocks of Sedona from our balcony.

9. Beautiful grounds and landscaping with lots of outdoor art and pottery. Everything is designed and executed with elegant Adobe/Southwestern flair and blends with the surrounding landscape.

8. An outdoor hot tub next to the pool (towels provided) that is open year-round; the perfect way to relax after a long day of hiking and outdoor activities.

7. Top-notch service. Starting with the reservation request and confirmation process, everything was handled promptly and professionally. Links to local dining, on-site dining menus, activities and on-site spa services were provided ahead of time. We appreciated the short tour of the property when we checked in. Daily housekeeping and turn down service (including ice delivery) was fantastic.

6. Complimentary breakfast for each day of your stay. You choose whether you want to eat in the dining room or have breakfast delivered to your villa. There are also complimentary daily hors d'oeuvres and fresh baked cookies available in the lobby each day around 5pm.

5. Even the smallest of Adobe Grand Villa's fifteen suites measure 850+ square feet. The first apartment we lived in, as a married couple, was smaller than this! If you run into bad weather during your visit (it is POURING rain and really cold in Sedona as we write this), it is a pure pleasure to spend the day relaxing in the suite with the fire blazing and the sound of the rain outside.

4. The on-site chef, Michael, is a gem. Do not miss the opportunity to make a private dining reservation and have him prepare a gourmet meal for you. Choose to have your meal served in the privacy of your villa, or dine in the well-appointed and cozy dining area in the hotel's common area. Meals are BYOB, which allowed us to bring some locally crafted Arizona wine, which we purchased during a visit to the Page Springs Vineyards the day before.

3. The warmth and hospitality of the Innkeepers and Staff. You are truly treated like a member of the family and no request or question is too small or troublesome.

2. The room décor is not only luxurious but also extremely functional. You feel like you are a guest in a million-dollar private home. Our villa featured two fireplaces, top quality sheets, a pair of overstuffed chairs, a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom, a private balcony with table and chairs. The list goes on and on; it is unbelievable how much thought and passion went into the design of this property!

1. A cornucopia of thoughtful and complimentary in-villa amenities such as fresh-baked bread daily (in your own bread machine), wine glasses, cocktail tumblers and ceramic coffee mugs, tableware, coffeemaker, mini-refrigerator stocked with bottled water and soda, microwave, his & her robes, lighted make-up mirror, XM music channels, free Wi-Fi and lots and lots of outlets to keep all of your gadgets charged.

Don't hesitate to book here --- you will NOT be disappointed. It is worth every penny, especially for a romantic special occasion getaway. We've posted a couple dozen photos to help bring our words to life!

Room Tip: Each villa is unique so make sure you view photos online to select a theme or style of decor that yo...
