“Unsurpassed for relaxation & rejuvenation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012 via mobile

We experienced a top-notch, one-of-a-kind vacation in Sedona. Chef Michael and his staff were unbelievable in helping us plan excursions. Chef Michael tailored his menu each day for a vegan diet, and went out of his way to create unbelievably delicious vegan and vegetarian breakfasts, afternoon appetizers, and nightly desserts! The food was amazing each and every day.

Our room was spectacular-- the Silver Spur room. The fireplace in front of each tub was so luxurious. This was the most splendid inn/ bed & breakfast I have ever stayed in. The gardens around the pool were also beautiful and perfectly complemented the Sedona landscape. Highly, highly recommend The Adobe Grand Villas!! Stay there if you can!!!

We spent five nights at the resort, two nights in the Red Cinders room and three nights in the Wagon Wheel room. We had dinner with Chef Michael on Friday night and it was terrific! The rooms were very well done and incredibly well-appointed. The Wagon Wheel has a western theme and the attentional to detail is amazing. The shower and Jacuzzi use old pitcher pumps to deliver the water!

The only word of caution is that the Wagon Wheel bed can a bit difficult to get in and out of. There's a step available to help but my wife and I both found it hard to navigate getting in and out of the bed due to the high sideboard and soft mattress.

The location of the resort is good; it's about 10 minutes from the main part of town. It's great for side trips that head west of town. The rooms are quiet; the staff is knowledgeable and helpful; the toiletries are first class, and the fresh baked bread smells great. The breakfast is also top shelf. They offer a special every day, but will make virtually anything you ask.

If you are looking for a romantic getaway that is world-class in every way, I recommend Adobe Grand Villas.

We spent 4 days and 3 nights here for part of our anniversary, and I can say we could not have been any more pleased or impressed by this facility, or more so, the people who make it such an impressive place.
This is probably the most awesome place we have stayed to date, from the bread baked fresh in your room, to the attentiveness of the staff, to the dinner creations by Chef Michael, to the snacks and coffee/water/condiments in the villa, there aren’t many places that even compare to this 'B&B'.
Bridgette was the manager on duty for most of our stay, and she was incredibly attentive and helpful. Any minor issues we had (safe not working correctly, missing towels) were rectified in minutes, thanks to her eagerness to help. Bridgette was wonderful and a real asset to the facility.
The villa we chose – Visions – was just incredibly beautiful. The theme is of a gold/copper mine, and the furnishings and décor are massive, sturdy, and beautiful hand burnished metal and heavy wood timbers. The effect has to be witnessed to be truly appreciated, although the pictures online to a pretty good job. The fireplaces were well used.
Breakfast was incredible the days we were available to eat, and when we weren’t, the staff were happy to make us a breakfast to-go. They were also happy to bring us breakfast to our villa when requested! (They are now also offering a lunch selection as well as breakfast – but I don’t think it is part of the inclusive price).
We had dinner in the dining room one night which was exceptional, and well worth the extra expense. Chef Michael is very creative and does a superb job. The dining room is beautiful, and we were the only couple having dinner in the dining room that evening. The staff was attentive as always. We took desert to our room.
The grounds on the facility are impeccable and well manicured, with beautiful and whimsical metal statuary.
We had a couples massage with hot stones that was truly incredible-and I don’t normally go for massages. The masseuses were excellent and very professional. I would definitely suffer through it again.
We will be back! It is expensive, but particularly for those special times, it can’t be beat!

Room Tip: They are all beautiful! Upper levels have a view.

Love this place!!! This was our second visit to the Adobe Grand Villas. The first time we stayed in the whispering pines room and this time we changed it up with a visit to the country gardens villa. It is hard to believe the two rooms are in the same place. They are so vastly different. The attention to detail in each is amazing from the overall theme of the rooms down to each towel bar and light switch. The rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are luxurious. Oh and the bed is like a nest to curl up in!
They stock the room with snack and drinks, all at no additional charge and even have fresh bread baking in your room for yiou each day. The breakfast prepared each morning by our chef, Jacquline was delicious!
The only negative thing one could possibly say about this hotel is that they make it very difficult to go back home again, hehe!

Room Tip: Each room is unique...look at the pictures on line to decide what feel you would like for you stay.

We spent 5 nights at Adobe Grand Villas as a base to explore the Grand Canyon, the Hopi Mesas, and, of course, Sedona. The accommodations were outstanding. Our villa was very spacious and had a gas fireplace. The little extras (at no charge) like fresh home made bread and snacks every day in the room made it even more enjoyable. While there, we enjoyed a private dinner. The chef was amazing. We dined at several of the high end restaurants in town, but the dinner prepared by Chef Michael was the best meal we had. We also enjoyed massages at the on site spa. Attention to detail by customer oriented owners make this a great place to experience the relaxing wonder of Sedona.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Sedona Breeze which had the advantage of being on the first level. (Some required...

Fantastic place to stay. Really recommend...very private and exclusive. This was built to be a B&b complex and is not just someone's home. We will go back next year! (Great breakfast, and the staff, especially Michael the manager are great)

Room Tip: Loved Twin Kyote

The Adobe Villas far exceeded our expectations for our girls' getaway. Our suite was well appointed and spacious. We particularly enjoyed all the additional details and service that was provided, such as the homemade bread, the stocked refrigerator, the delicious breakfasts. The staff was extremely friendly and service oriented, willing to go above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The villas are close to town but yet you feel like you are one with nature with the proximity to the mountains. We did 2 hikes, starting right from door. We would definitely love to come back and enjoy more time at the villas.
