“Yum!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

My husband and I come to the Hideaway fairly often and never leave disappointed. We love the pasta dishes, they are so good! Definitely a good place if you are wanting to go out for a casual meal and want good italian food for a decent price.

“Sip a beer upstairs and order your Hideaway takeaway Pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

And order your Hideaway takeaway Pizza from down under.
The 20 minutes or so is just good relax time and they have just fine beer. Consistently my favorite Sedona Pizza for 16 years now !!!

“Go Hungry!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

A couple from Phoenix recommended The Hideaway. They said the food was very good and the setting was super. I got on Trip Advisor and read several reviews. One said to be sure to have the Antipasto salad, so we did. It was the best salad of that type I have ever had. My husband and I ordered two pasta dishes and were not disappointed. Because we were having the large salad, Wendy (our server) asked if we'd like to have the Sicilian Sausage Soup instead of the dinner salad which was to accompany our pasta dishes. We were so glad we got the soup - it was so wonderful!

We went home (well, back to where we were staying) with half of our entrees, half of our salad, and several pieces of the garlic cheese bread. We'll have to go back again in order to sample their desserts.

We enjoyed sitting out on their big enclosed deck, looking down on the creek and up at the beautiful red rocks.

The only part of our visit I would comment negatively on was the rustic staircase down to the main dining area. I think you can eat on the main level in the lounge, but we wanted to eat out on the deck. The place isn't fancy - but it is really comfortable. The staff was really friendly..

“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013 via mobile

The restaurant I a hidden gem. Go for great food. The enclosed patio overlooks Oak Creek Canyon. The decor is not there to impress. Let the food speak for itself. The lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo with sausage are incredible.

“Friendly and Tasty!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

The restaurant is old and outdated. The porch is a bit scary. The service was fantastic and the food was home cooked and fabulous. Must try the The Famous Anti-Pasto Salad! We had the lasagne and pizza, very tasty and the garlic bread is out of this world!
