“Colorful local spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

We were recommended to go to P.J.'s by our innkeeper for a local spot for lunch. It is definitely a bar primarily, with plenty of regulars enjoying their beer or whisky, card games and bar food in the middle of the day, and televisions playing every sport. We ordered a burger and the " Mexican street tacos" --both were tasty. Apparently they are known best for their pulled pork, onion rings and burgers, and we observed regulars enjoying the wings. If you like to go to an authentic spot which is not touristy, you don't mind a bar atmosphere, and you're looking for a good, basic lunch (limited, not "fancy" menu---no arugula and portobello paninis here) then this would be a good option in this part of town.

“Excellent service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013 via mobile

PJs is a nice little local pub in The Village. Good ambiance, great food and outstanding service. Very attentive staff. Drinks stayed full and local or tourist you are acknowledged immediately. A couple of pool tables, soft tip dart boards and some nights live music make this an enJOYable pub.

“Schtan”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Great service, friendly atmosphere, good food, and clean facilities. Lot's of TV's with numerous sports events on if one desires such (I do!!). Crowd is friendly and lively, but not ruthless and obnoxious.

“Great value and delicious food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

We came to PJs as it seems it is popular with the locals. Indeed, it was pretty full when we went. We ordered beer battered fish and chips (absolutely delicious and crisp - huge portions) and chilli which was similarly delicious. The house wine was excellent and the atmosphere was great. A great evening out.
