As others have said, the rooms are cheaper because before my fiancé and I could check in, we were asked to attend a seminar to purchase a time share in order to have our room upgraded, which we immediately declined. The rooms are small, old, and drafty and it is incredibly difficult to find. There was a decent sized gap between the threshold and the outside door (which by the way, the doors could easily be kicked in), and our bathroom was atrocious. There was residue on the toilet and ceiling, along with hair being on the ceiling. We were also near the vending and washing machines, which had the balcony not smelled of sewage, would have made for a noisy evening. While the Lodge came highly recommended, it was hardly worth it and we wish we had seen this site earlier. Even if it were free, I would pay money to stay somewhere else. This clearly is not one of ILX's decent locations.
