“Downtown (uptown!!!) Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

Hi, I was looking for an hotel for a night stay in Sedona, the Orchards Inn was above my expectations!!!

Pros
1) Price: found a great price around $110
2) Breakfast: they offer a buffet breakfast with a wide variety of items, not in the hotel is a 3 min walk.
3) Location: in the middle of the action as a local told us, lot of stores and restaurants.
4) Parking: lots of spaces available.
5) Staff: really friendly as almost everyone we met in our trip.
6) Room: big comfortable king bedroom, with a little balcony witn an awesome view.

Cons: didn't find.

Tips:
Taos in the same property, a great place to drink a beer with really good mexican food.
Cowboy Restaurant: sample platter with snake meatballs, tuna fries and buffalo meat is a must to do!!!.

Great place, I'll recommend it to anyone.

I have only great things to say about the Orchards Inn and the wonderful staff providing excellent service to their guest's. Patrick and Charles went above and beyond to accommodate my husband and I in our special circumstances. Patrick was very pleasent, informative and got us into a very charming room. A perfect weekend getaway in beautiful friendly sedona!

I really enjoyed this hotel. When looking for a hotel i don't look for (expensive, over the top, with all the amenities, etc.) I look for a hotel that has the best price with charm and exceeding customer service, with what I need in mind. This hotel was less than $200 a night. Perfect location right in the middle of the Main Street in Sedona. All rooms have a view of snoopy rock. From morning to night the balcony is a nice place to hang out. The front desk was very helpful. We did the Mesa airport vortex. this one which I recommend for an easy hike, and a great view. Also cathedral rock vortex which was much more intense, steeper climbs but a more beneficial payoff at the top. This hotel has a pool which is nice. For the price best hotel, if your looking for a spa like five star experience this is not for you. If you want a clean hotel, at a good price, with a friendly staff, slack dab in the middle come here. Tip: there are stairs that go down to l'auberge hotel which is an extremely nice hotel. You can walk the grounds, maybe make dinner reservations a long the creek. It feels like a different place. But pricey each room has their own cabin with an outdoor shower.

Room Tip: Request a newer renovated room, they have older rooms which aren't bad just outdated. Our room w...

I booked this hotel based upon Tripadvisor. It might have been tricky to locate off the main drag except I was warned by the reviews that it was behind Taos restaurant so we had no problem.

Check in was fast and the young man at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Our room was huge! King bed and couch on the same wall. Nice corner fireplace was a great touch and added that nice warmth. Every room in the hotel looks out onto beautiful red rock. We had a pet room on the first floor that shared a little yard with 3 other units complete with pet poo bags and trash can. Our room was far enough off the main road that road noise was not an issue. The room had nice updated furniture and carpeting and bathroom. A microwave and fridge were located in the closet. An extra utility sink and counter were convenient.

The hotel is within easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

We ate in the Canyon Breeze for the breakfast buffet included in the room rate. I am not sure I would have paid the $12.95 fee they charge otherwise, but we had a nice varied meal of breakfast burrito, sausage, juice. There were many other selections.

We will definitely stay at The Orchard again.

Stayed here with a friend that lives in Phoenix and has been to Sedona many times. She recommended another hotel but I didn't like the reviews on tripadvisor. I decided on The Orchards Inn because of the location, price, view, free breakfast (had to book with hotel direct), upgraded rooms, heated pool & hot tub. The staff was friendly & helpful. Everything met or exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this place if you want to be in walking distance of uptown Sedona for a great price.

Room Tip: Book direct with hotel.

Excellent hotel for the money! It is located in downtown Sedona, close to restaurants and at a walking distance to Tlaquepaque. The view from the room was awesome, the room was also nice with refrigerator, coffee, nice TV, the people at the hotel very kind, especially Pablo, who helped us with everything quite fast. The breakfast buffet is included if you book the room on the hotel's website directly and it is ok, they have basic stuff and it's fairly good. The wi-fi is free and works really fast. I have no complaint, but I was a little disappointed because I understood from other reviews that the king rooms have jacuzzi and ours did not have one. We used the outside jacuzzi at night and it was a nice experience because the weather was quite cold. The overall impression was great, the hotel really deserves its good rating on TripAdvisor.

Room Tip: The hotel has 3 floors, ask for a room on 2nd or 3rd floor, the 2nd floor is at street level but it...

The pictures are real as the views from the rooms are spectacular. Central in Sedona, so you can walk to the shops, restaurants, and attractions. Staff was friendly, helpful, and excellent. Clean, stylish, well-maintained, room. We enjoyed the view from the hot tub and pool - even in the January cold snap. Complimentary breakfast was a good deal as it is a buffet style at a neighboring restaurant. FYI, if you are booking in Sedona it would take some work to find a place without a great view - including Oak Creek which may be less expensive than Sedona but no less beautiful a spot.
