Residing less than 2 hours from the beautiful red rocks of Sedona, we travel to the area every chance we get for some R&R.
Over the years we have stayed at some wonderful B&B's, some so-so national chains, and some dissapointing lodges.
Our last trip may have provided us with the best of all worlds when we spent 3 nights at "A Touch of the Southwest Suites". The location to everything that "Uptown" Sedona offers is a few minute walk from the property.
The family owned resort knows the meaning of good customer service and keeps their property in wonderful condition. Although not the newest property in town, it is one of the nicest and provides the visitor with spacious, comfy, super-clean accomodations.
We reserved one of their 2nd floor suites and had more room in the kitchen and living areas than many apartments I have lived in over the years.
The bedroom was large with a very comfortable King bed and lots of space for all of your belongings and then some.
The fully equipped kitchen with full-size fridge
provided us more than we needed for our long week-end stay.
The furnishings were a mixture of new and pleasantly worn retro southwest eclectic. It appeared that the individual suites were themed and furnished in various southwest styles.
Located in a safe commercial /residential neighborhood, the property is an excellent value for overnight or extended stay visitors.
We will be back.
