“overated”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

hard to find, reviews suggested it was worth it, having sat down. 3 items in succession " unavailable" !! OH ended up with a pasta dish with completely raw veg, tasteless sauce/stock, corkage more than our wine cost, , my choice from very limited menu was incorrect when it arrived. !! nice ambience, music attentive waiter, def' not worth the cost

“A hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

This place is not easy to find, but when you do you will be pleasantly surprised. The food was great, the service was good and the best thing is, you can bring your own bottle of wine to enjoy.

“Fine dining experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2012

This is fine dining all the way, from ambiance to service to food prep. By East Coast standards, the restaurant is a bargain, though compared to other local choices, I'm sure it's pricey. The portions--we had seafood Portuguesa and the trout in lemon butter--were generous and perfectly prepared. The service was attentive. We were very pleased.

“Awesome dining experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

My husband and I were looking for a romantic evening to end our first trip to Sedona. After much research, decided Dan's Bistro was worth a try. We brought our own wine as suggested and ordered the special and the seafood Portuguese. Both were awesome. Great staff, service, food and atmosphere. We highly recommend Dan's Bistro. Bringing your own wine beats bar service any day!

“Amazing meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

This spot might deceive you as it does not look like much from the outside. But once stepping in, you know you've made a good choice. The food, service, ambiance. I had a veal dish that was cooked perfectly (and even tasted great two days later in our "leftover" dinner). My sister has a chicken dish - -also great . The menu is small but covers all bases and gives you plenty of choice. The service was even and well done -- even to the advice we got for some hiking we were to do next day! Thanks for a great evening.
