“Fantastic experience - could've stayed for another two, four.....more hours!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Great time, educational but not boring. A short list of what Matt showed us during our tour of the night sky in Sedona!

International Space Station
Venus
Multiple satellite fly-overs (I stopped counting at 8)
Constellations
Shooting Stars/Meteorites
Saturn

Also was lucky to hear coyotes start their dinner. Very informative, appropriate for almost any age!

“One of the best parts of our trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

We brought our kids (8 & 14) to Sedona for the first time from the East Coast where we have limited star viewing and this tour was one of the best parts of our trip (and there were many). The astronomer (forgot his name but he was a math teacher and published a book) was fabulous. We saw numerous shooting stars, Saturn, some constellations, a double star, tumbling satellites and more. The serenity of Sedona at night! Kids and grown ups loved this. Must do and will recommend and do again when we return.

“I Love Amateur Astronomers!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

This is a small outfit that I found online while researching things to do in Sedona. The moon was at about 1/4 when we were there so the sky was a little washed out and we didn't get the completely dark sky I was hoping for but that's not their fault - the moon doesn't change to our convenience!

Our guide was an amateur astronomer who was very informed and personable. We had great views of the moon and a pretty good view of Saturn. My suggestion is to look at a moon phase chart when you go. If the moon is 1/4 or below (new moon is best) book this evening as part of your stay in Sedona.
