We went to Sedona for my boyfriend's business meeting held at the Best Western Inn of Sedona. Since we were flying in the weekend before we wanted to stay there the whole time. When we asked about staying Saturday night we were told there were no rooms available.

When the rest of our group checked in Sunday they were told by the front desk staff that we were no shows for our Saturday night reservation. Grr! They had to cancel our reservation entirely and make a new one under my name so I could check in while my bf played golf. I checked in no problem. I don't believe we were charged for the "no show" night but I'm not sure since someone else paid for all the rooms, more on that later.

We had room 317 which is at the end of the main building. It didn't seem as spacious as some other rooms but only shares one wall. The other rooms had two doors, one facing the parking lot and one facing the view/highway but our room only had one door. It had a fireplace and sitting area which was nice and rest of the room was pretty good. The TV was fuzzy, thought that was weird since they had cable.

The pool area was very nice. I was there in the mornings so it was empty and quiet. Continental breakfast was served in a room just off the pool and was standard fare (no waffles). The shared balcony/patio area for the rooms was very spacious and had tables and chairs that we used for socializing after dinner. The hotel is on the highway so you see it from the balcony but there were also decent views of some red rock formations.

I checked out while the group was finishing their meetings. The front desk staff told me I was the last of the group to check out and asked if I wanted to settle up the bill. The rooms were already paid for (which they told me when I checked in) and everyone was responsible for his/her own incidentals. I told him this and he got everything sorted out in a few minutes.

A few of us decided to go on a Jeep tour after the meetings so we asked the hotel staff to call Pink Jeep and make reservations for a 1 PM tour. When we arrived at the Pink Jeep office we were told there was a mix up and they were booked for that time. I don't know where the mistake was made but we ended up disappointed.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would have rated it higher except for the reservation problems.

I just had my wedding (4/29/06) at the BW Inn of Sedona and were thrilled with the location, staff, and service. Everyone we encountered was so pleasant & helpful. We gave wine to each of our guests & unprompted, the hotel handed out cork screws to each person as they checked in...What a nice touch!! The guests loved the balconies on which we enjoyed coctails & laughs. The staff made sure our party was all placed near each other & therefore we had 2 balconies of friends and family. I couldn't have asked for a better setting!!! Rosalie's of Sedona is the sole caterer & they are WONDERFUL!! I highly reccommend this place to anyone looking to host their wedding in Sedona. The views, layout and service can compete with any of the fancier hotels.

The Best Western Inn is a nice hotel with an unbelievable view. As far as the rooms and amenities you are getting what you pay for - nice but nothing special. As far as the view from the very large balcony area - incredible. You do share the balconies with others but there is plenty of room and many tables and chairs provided. The staff was very friendly and the woman at the conceirge desk is extremely helpful. The food for the complimentary breakfast was a little disappointing but there are plenty of other places to eat nearby.

We did have a bad experience in that we originally booked with Expedia and were supposed to be at the other Best Western in the heart of Sedona, much nearer to shops and restuarants. When I changed the dates of the trip Expedia changed the hotels as well and I missed the error. I will book directly with hotels on all trips from now on. Expedia's response to their mistake was very poor.

However - the staff and view at the Best Western Inn made up for Expedia's error. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a reasonably priced place to stay.

Lovely hotel away from the action of the tourist traffic of Sedona with beautiful views of the red rocks. Breakfast was bountiful with something for everyone but several problems: the price I booked on Expedia was higher than the price quoted when we arrived and we were stuck, having paid the higher price so I recommend booking directly with the hotel; we were placed in a room on the lowest level of the hotel which for some reason has NO INTERNET SERVICE available and lastly,unfortunately, the exercise room doesn't open until 9 am which makes working out a real problem. The concierge was a lovely woman and helped us find a great place for dinner.
